There wasn't breakfast?? We only stayed one night and it was fine. The pods are a little tight for more than 2 people. We loved watching the sheep behind us!!

This youth hostel is in an idyllic location, a 2 min walk from Achmelvich beach. The kitchen is spacious with everything you need to cook and cater for yourself and even though we were in a mixed 8 bed dorm there were 4 rooms each with heavy curtains, a chair, a little cupboard, powerpoints and hangers along with the bunk bed so ultimately it felt like your own little room for two which was fab. Ben the host was excellent too with great recommendations.

It’s located in the beautiful mountain , with very large car park , the hotel is fantastic with very high end , the staff was very nice and very helpful,the room we had was very nice with super comfortable bed as well , and mini fridge, the room with beautiful views out of window .

Absolutely adored this quaint place! Host was welcoming and kind. The Hut is decorated and appointed so beautifully; very comfortable and cozy stay. Inside we found delicious treats awaiting us (thank you!); and as a bonus - we were even visited by a red deer! Such a cute place!

The Sea View Cabin was modern, clean, and comfortable. It had a big modern shower, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable bed. The hosts were very nice. They welcomed us and let us know we could knock on their door if we needed anything, but otherwise let us enjoy our privacy at the cabin. They have some sweet animals that we were allowed to pet and interact with too.

Jo & Trevor were wonderful hosts. Made sure I was taken care every step of the way! The breakfast was absolutely delicious, the bedroom sparkling and the bed was SO large and comfy. They had loads of books to read through. I even got a chance to see the northern lights from their porch! I only wish I got to stay longer but I hope to be back soon! Worth every last pound for this place!

This place is adorable. So cozy with just the amount of space and amenities we needed. Great location just minutes from town with a lovely view of the Loch from the hot tub. Really appreciated being able to do a load of laundry in the shed behind the cabin. Dinner at Delilah's nearby was the best meal of our trip around the NC500 thus far.

The beach is amazing, does not disappoint in any way.

The beach is amazing, does not disappoint in any way. Last 1.5 miles to the beach is single track road and there is not much around but that’s what we liked and just short 20 min drive from lochinvar for shops and restaurants etc.

It's an isolated beach with scenic views and away from the world feel. The staff here are genuine and friendly and if they do not know they will find out for you. We went out of season and there was enough to do. In season alot more stuff is open. Definitely recommend a visit. Also part of NC500

The location was amazing, the views were incredible and the...

The location was amazing, the views were incredible and the whole break at Achmelvich was amazing. We made the mistake of not bringing snacks, juice etc, but the little shop on the caravan site had lots for us. We also used the chip shop on site, which was beautiful fish!

Well worth the drive down a single track road .

Well worth the drive down a single track road . Beautiful beach, white sand aqua sea.. and that was on a day of louring clouds, high winds and subsequent rain. The hostel was charming, with the benefit of a log fire and comfy sofa and chairs. A warm welcome from the lovely young woman who checked me in and was happy to chat. No internet....which I did not find in the least bothersome. I sat and read gazed into the log fire and got my thoughts in order.

Beautiful beaches in a quiet area made busier by the North...

Beautiful beaches in a quiet area made busier by the North Coast 500. 3 caravan sites adjoin each other but are well set out and are not visible from the beaches. Great grassy areas for kids to play. Crystal clear sea. No cafes or lifeguards or tinned entertainment which was a bonus for us. Good places to eat in Lochinver about 15 minutes drive away. The road is single-track with passing places, so be careful as the many camper-van drivers often don't know how to reverse or use wing mirrors to allow faster traffic to overtake!
