The Owners were very helpful and pleasant once this room was heated it was so warm Eleanor had the heating an hour before We arrived ... very thoughtful... it was so cosy you turn the heating off... the huge sofa to lunge and relax on... was perfect... full marks ... Eleanor gave us good wee tips and all with a radiant smile... the 4 poster bed was EXCELLENT some may disagree... we loved it... superb views tranquil setting John gave us Directions too reasonable places for a meal out ... Thanx... owls foxes Buzzard red kite a cocadoodler ... Thank You.. as we needed this solitude and thats exactly what We got... Elizabeth and Jeff x

Absolutely amazing dinner in the restaurant worth staying just for this. Who would have guessed food of this quality in such an unassuming location. We were looking for a mid way point to break our journey and we chose the Auldgirth Inn on location and the fact we could eat dinner there. We had no idea how good the food was going to be!
A lovely big bathroom although dated.
Good breakfast included.
Good value for money.

We had a very nice stay at the Auldgirth Inn! Were welcomed kindly! Restaurant was exceptionally closed but got help to have diner which we very much appreciated.
The rooms are spacious and well equiped. Very comfy beds and also the bathrooms are equiped as needed!
Breakfast made to order and very tasty!
For sure a lovely place to stay. Would certainly come back!

First of all I want to thank the staff at the Auldgirth Inn for offering me a refund after explaining that the restaurant would not be serving evening meals,the reviews for food were instrumental in us choosing the Auldgirth.
