The George at Backwell is perfectly situated, clean with amazing staff. James and his team were consistently available, friendly and professional. We stayed for 3 nights and would highly recommend The George at Backwell.

Lovely old coaching in. Room tastefully renovated and spotlessly clean Both dinner and breakfast were well prepared and enjoyable

Stayed in the best room. Room 6 with high ceilings, great little bathroom and loads of space. sweet little welcome pack of biscuits, coffee, fruit and some good stuff for breakfast. Super close to the airport.

Really close to the airport, great food in the bar

I struggle to find a fault. We had evening meal and breakfast. The quality and service was excellent. The rooms were spacious and the beds wonderful. The bathroom was kitted out very well

Everything worked out just fine.

Clean and comfortable. Friendly helpful staff.

Great location. Nicely decorated room

Hotel was nice clean the shift manager sema was very very friendly nothing was to much trouble and kept the place spotless would HIGHLY recommend

I did like the layout of the room. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I did not have any meals during my stay.

Easy upgrade and late check-out at quite small fees, early check-in was available free of charge = you ask you get :) absolute must stay for Clifton!!!

Everything was perfect. Starting with very clean and spacious rooms, beautiful location genuinely next to the sea and ending with professional, helpful and always smiling staff.

Breakfast waa excellant. Sandwiches were very good. But main menu meals were not so good, fish n chips, fish was poor quality. But fish n chips at a nearby pub was worse. Cleaning staff were very good.

Very quiet and we had a warm welcome. The car park was a bonus too. The location was excellent. Facilities in the room were good and lots of towels available. We would definitely stay there again

Beautiful and convenient location. Thoughtful touches like biscuits and loose tea and coffee. Super welcoming and helpful staff. Also happy to be in a local business rather than a big chain. Thank you!

Lovely hotel, and would stay again.

The staff response. Always willing and able. Relaxed casual atmosphere Great Housekeeping It's extremely quiet at night

Easily accessible. Nice setting, good parking.

It was a magical place to stay we loved it !!

Location, the reception staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was cute and nicely decorated with good amenities and snacks. The price was very good.

We had a wonderful room, good size and light and airy. We had our dogs with us and 2 bowls were left in the room for them and the staff were really welcoming. very convenient location on the square with a small garden so easy for early morning dog visits!

The stay was extremely comfortable, with all the amenities we needed.

Everything was great: the location (quiet and safe but very near the Clifton Bridge), the room, the bathroom (and bath!), the friendly and helpful staff, the breakfast.
