Located in the beautiful Welsh countryside, Celtic International Hotel is less than a mile away from Cardiff International Airport. Very friendly staff, most helpful, and caring. Nice room, good mattress, quiet. I only had a very short night there and had to get to the airport too early to be able to enjoy a breakfast, but I sure would have liked a longer stay there

Aberthaw House Hotel is set in the charming West End of Barry, just a 10-minute drive from the M4 motorway. The property was built in 1892 and features some original features. Lovely friendly staff and beautiful breakfast both days!! Amazing view. A beautiful stay and my son loved it also

Loved visiting Barry, lovely weather,beach and people, lovely castles, museums lots of places to go for the kiddies and beautiful walks etc but most of all The hosts of The Vale are so welcoming and so funny and love telling us stories inwhich I enjoyed and always asking if you need anything so we will definitely be staying there again for sure👍🏽

This large Victorian building has character. 40 minutes from Cardiff city center and 20 minutes from Cardiff International Airport, and less than 2 miles from the beach. super friendly hosts couldn’t do enough for you,spotless clean place defo recommend and a fab bonus for Gavin & Stacey fan just awesome

Located in the quiet village of Llancarfan on the outskirts of Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, The Fox and Hounds B&B features 8 bedrooms with attached bathroom, fine ales and free WiFi. The atmosphere is the pub and restaurant was great and the rooms really clean. The staff were lovely and helpful and the food was tasty. Dogs were welcome which I didn’t know but have taken note of as I would stay again.

In the rolling green countryside of Moulton just 5 minutes’ drive from Cardiff, The 3 Horseshoes Inn offers accommodations, a restaurant, and a children’s play park. Breakfast was to order and I requested full cooked breakfast, which was superb along with a jolly nice pot of tea. The Evening Meal was also excellent and having stayed 2 nights I chose two different Mains; both were freshly cooked, and really tasty. My plate was 'clean' when it was taken back to the Kitchen; big compliments to both Chef and Serving Staff.

A 10-minute walk from the beach, Gail’s Guest House in Barry Island offers well-appointed rooms. Breakfast in bed was such a treat!! Lucy and Lyndon were incredible hosts~making our stay very enjoyable.

LARGE FAMILY APARTMENTS - Barry Island - FREE Parking - Complimentary Tray, Super Fast Wifi, SMART TV offers accommodations located on Barry High Street, just a 15-minute walk from Barry Island... It was a perfect size for what we needed. I was very happy to find somewhere that I could take the dog - my Labrador was welcomed just as we were. She had her own towel, a chew and there were beds and blankets in the cupboard if we needed them. The kids (11 and 12) were very comfortable with plenty of extra plug sockets for devices and WiFi code ready and waiting. Plenty of takeaways nearby for a quick order and a local shop down the street to stock up the fridge. Communication with the host was spot on from the minute I booked until I left. We will be visiting again.
