Located just North of Glasgow, Ardoch House Boutique Hotel is an award winning, 5 Star Rated property located on the West Highland Way, a short drive away from Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National... Actually we did not sleep there since the B&B is pet friendly and the cats generally go into the room and I am allergic. Nonetheless the owner refunded back the money when he knew that, very gentle and understanding from his side. Loved the hotel location though! In the middle of the woods with cheminée!
Located just outside Glasgow, West Highland Way Hotel and Campsite is a 5-star rated property located on the West Highland Way, a short drive away from Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. Great value loved the accommodation. Dinner was well worth the money also breakfast was great

Featuring accommodation with a patio, Roundhouse and Hot Tub is located in Mugdock. The accommodation is 34 km from Falkirk, and guests benefit from private parking available on site and free WiFi. A great little place away for the hustle and bustle of modern life. Wonderful views with a cosy fire and a super hot tub. All a couple would need for a few days of quiet time together.
Located in Milngavie, West Highland Way Rooms provides city views and free WiFi, 2.7 km from Mugdock Country Park and 1 km from Starting Point of the West Highland Way. Can’t recommend WHWR enough. Exactly as described and everything you need. I was starting out on the west highland way the next morning, so only needed a bed and a roof. I got so much more than I thought. Gerry was unbelievably accommodating and incredibly helpful after my train was delay for 3+ hours on the way up. Was no problem at all and really took the stress out of the journey. Would absolutely stay again!
Featuring a restaurant, West Highland Apartments - The Nevis features accommodation in Glasgow with free WiFi and city views. The property was gorgeous and in a great location to explore the beautiful town of Milngavie. It was spacious and had all the accommodations arranged perfectly.
Set in Milngavie, 2.4 km from Mugdock Country Park and 50 metres from the start of the West Highland Way, West Highland Apartment offers a living room with a flat-screen TV, and free WiFi. Everything. Unclear on cleaning fee. I’m guessing that is a fee if people leave it a mess, correct? Not extra charged.
Set 3 km from Milngavie, Tambowie Farm BnB has a garden and a terrace and enjoys views over the city and the Campsie Hills. Situated on a non working farm 3.5 km Bearsden and Mugdoch Country Park. Hostess was very nice lady. We felt very welcome and comfortable. Great breakfast! Glad we chose this b&b as a first stop on our WHW-walk.
Situated in Milngavie, West Highland Way Campsite offers accommodation with a patio or a terrace, free WiFi and flat-screen TV, as well as a restaurant and a shared lounge. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly. I’d originally booked a tent pitch, but through my own misunderstanding didn’t realizeI needed my own tent. Luckily when I arrived to the property the owner was more than understanding and offered me a single room which happened to be available. The room was perfect and so cozy. The bed was really comfortable and the personal heater made the room a perfect place to relax after a day of hiking. Just an 11minute drive from Milgravie. The friendly cat and dogs at the property were another huge bonus!
Off-Grid Relaxing Getaway at The Captain's Rest is situated in Clachan of Campsie. The property is 33 km from Falkirk, and complimentary private parking is offered. Lovely cosy cabin which felt very secluded but still comfortably near to a town! Perfect for those wanting to experience being out in the woods but still want the convenience/safety of being near civilisation!
Not easy to find but probably a method to the madness because it is a little gem hidden in the hills so avoidable by loud rowdy groups. I location to access to many activities and wonderful sights and still close to local shops, pubs and restaurants. Beautiful old manor house with tasteful furniture and decor, the bed was wonderful to sleep in (I think I had the best room in the house...hoorah!). 50in flat screen TV with SKY Sports...free!!! Good Wi-Fi connection. So comfortable and certainly therapeutic for winding down, breathing in fresh, oxygenated air. Great tom dine in or BBQ or cook on an open fire. Bring you dogs and let them fully enjoy the freedom to roam untethered.
Looking for somewhere to break a long journey, we couldn’t have asked for better. Owner was very welcoming. Housekeeper was very friendly Other guests were nice Dogs were welcomed Breakfast was lovely Wonderful place to stay 5 🌟 👏👏👏
Blanefield was very friendly and helpfull. In fact a patron of the local indian carry out gave us a lift to our lodgings after it became obvious a taxi was going to have to come from Bearsden. How helpfull is that !!
There isn't much at Blanefield, except for Eden Mill, but it is a great base from which to visit Loch Lomond, which is stunning, and I think it's on or near the West Highland Way, so possibly a good stop off if you're doing that. It's about 25 minutes from Glasgow.
This is an amazing property for a relaxing stay in the countryside, with the opportunity to mix with other residents, or chill out on your own. There is a short walk to a pub, that provides food as well. A barbecue was available in the evening for residents.
The property was set in a perfect setting. Andrew the owner was great and our dog had a great time running around with his dogs. In fact dogs are really welcome there with special dog baskets for your pets if you needed them, and they get the full run of the property and the garden. You got 10% discount off your meals at the local pub. Overall it is well worth the very reasonable price.
