Do yourself a favour and stay here! Original old building that’s been tastefully updated - great bathroom with lovely products, comfy couch and bed, garden view, good lighting, connectivity and plenty of good coffee/tea etc. Hosts friendly and helpful. Restaurant downstairs is delightful and served best food we’ve had in UK. Lovely countryside, good pub just down the road. Best place we’ve stayed. Loved it. 😊

Booked @ the last minute as I wasn't able to drive the 300 miles back home to Kent. Excellent price, excellent and super friendly host. Met all the house guests @ the farm. Host offered me an evening meal, a bath, and a lovely breakfast with home made preserves. I rate this stay 10 +. Beautiful farmstead, beautiful rooms, exceptional super friendly host. It was cosy, peaceful, away from noise and hustle and bustle of busy places. The dogs loved it and the enclosed garden was great - we initially used a long line for our youngest pup but after the first day he didn't need it! Waking up to birds tweeting was so beautiful and calming. The dogs loved seeing the chickens roaming and the little welcome gifts were a very nice touch! We enjoyed the eggs for breakfast on the second day 😍 The lodge was clean and had everything you needed. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great! Although a small lodge, the space was bigger than we expected and plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 retriever sized dogs. We loved it here and the hosts were lovely! We would definitely come back if we travel there again! We had glorious weather which made it even more special 🌞 We couldn't have asked for a better retreat - it's about 45-60 minute drive to Pen Y Fan/Brecon Beacons National Park which we did on both days and we enjoyed taking in the gorgeous views on our travels.

Staff were lovely, and very informative about the farm animals. The location is gorgeous, and the hut itself is super cosy inside. The Ninja Oven is a fantastic touch. Overall, wonderful experience.

A cosy warm, rambling house with a fascinating history (detailed in a little booklet in our bedroom). Full of interesting furniture and artwork, books and memorabilia. A generous, fresh, and very tasty breakfast, and fresh milk for tea or coffee in our room. It was hidden away in a fold of the surrounding countryside. Proper black sky at night - so the stars were bright. There is a book binding business in a neighbouring building run by the hosts - and we were granted a tour. Truly skilled craftsmanship. We will return!

The hotel is set in the gorgeous valleys, the view is incredible when you wake up and the hosts… wow! They treated me like a king. I’ve never felt so spoiled in my whole life. The breakfast was INCREDIBLE. The orange juice was Devine and the bed… like a marshmallow. Thanks so much to you both and your gorgeous dog Willow. Shame I didn’t have space for her in my bag!
