The Inspiration for Genius
Open-plan and open-minded, Cambridge is best known for university colleges dating to the 13th century. King’s College is the most popular, and its chapel choir is internationally famous. Although accessed from cobbled King’s Parade, it is best viewed from a punt on The Backs, the part of the River Cam behind.
Cambridge punting is an institution and gives great views of Queen’s College Mathematical Bridge and the Bridge of Sighs at St John’s College.
