The location is excellent, really close to the highway, but about 15 min from Inverness. The room was super great! It looked like a 2 bedroom apartment, both rooms had microwave and one room had a fridge. We had cookies, cutlery and plates available for us, plus coffee, milk in a sac and hot chocolate. The facilities were good and renovated. Free Parking in the back. No reception. We received the code for the main door and bedroom door - really easy as long as you have access to the internet!

My recent stay at Retreat Hotel was truly delightful. The room was spacious, beautiful views. The peaceful gardens and cozy Bar made it a relaxing escape, and the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a serene and elegant retreat!

The employees are very helpful and give great service. It’s in a gorgeous setting in the woods with great views on the drive to the house. Breakfast was continental but plenty of choice and in the evening the microwave and crockery etc, were really helpful after a long day out. We did a day of activities which we all really enjoyed.

Lovely traditional hotel set in delightful grounds. Staff were super friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great. There are lovely walks directly from the hotel into the nearby countryside and good inexpensive bus services too if you need them. Overall a lovely stay, I'm sure we will return.

Easy to find tho our satnav wanted us to turn before the premises. Upgraded to better room due to a no-show which was very welcome. Excellent choice of continental breakfast Friendly welcome
