Literally---everything! How often can one stay in an establishment dating back to the 17th century? The room was very comfortable and provided a view of the front garden area. The facility truly offers it all: great, comfortable and classy accommodations, tremendous and delicious 5 star cuisine, a walkable garden area sporting grand, old (over 200 yrs old!) trees like Sequoias and Cedars and a very welcoming and gracious staff. We were even afforded the opportunity to speak at length to Stuart, the owner. Stuart is a hands-on owner and pitches in to help with anything that may need to be done. Just a grand experience all around!!! If you have the opportunity to stay here--by all means do it!

Location was perfect for what I needed. Mwamba was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for him. My room was comfortable and clean. Very well appointed. Adequate off road parking.

Absolutely everything, it was such a delight to stay at this place to the point that we extended the stay for an additional night. Perfect to recharge, enjoy some nature, while being close to Inverness & Loch Ness. Bonus point for the adorable staff, everyone was so welcoming and kind.

Beautiful castle with a very nice and comfortable room. The restaurant is a bit pricey but it was good. The breakfast was really nice as well. A nice place to take a break after visiting the loch Ness. Inverness is also a very nice town that deserves a stop.

It was a great hotel, really clean with very polite staff, which was always available when needed. The room was really big and it came with a bathtub, which was really useful if one wanted to relax. A great choice overall.

The staff were all absolutely delightful! The breakfast was delicious and provided loads of options. The room was large, and the bed was very comfortable. The location was great - right in the heart of the gorgeous little town, and as a bonus the first night I was there the local bagpipe team and dance school did a performance in the middle of town which was just a short walk away. They were great with pets - the only place they weren't allowed was in the breakfast room which still meant if you wanted to bring them for a drink at the bar or on the terrace you could. I would definitely stay here again.

Mwamba was friendly and helpful....he clearly is very committed to the guest house..and busy refurbishing the premises. The rooms were spotless as was the community rooms. The rooms had a microwave with cutlery and plates in the rooms

Not sure what to expect but our room was great, just like a proper hotel room. Comfy bed and huge shower. We were allocated a ground floor room (handy as we had a dog with us). Lovely woodland location but a little difficult to find, even though we had been sent an email giving specific directions (we turned too early, following instructions re traffic cones - there was more than one set!). But easily remedied

Stuart and Suzannah, and all their staff, were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and the restaurant is superb.
