Honestly, the place was amazing. The location is great, right in the woods with accessible trekking and biking routes, a lot of activities for kids (and adults who feel like kids :) ). A great place to spend a holiday with your family.

Big room, big bed, big bathroom. (Finally, comparing to many small hotel rooms). Our room had a corner with refrigerator, coffee and tea facilities. There is a big free parking place for guests. There is continental breakfast, but it is communicated ahead, we knew it. There were fruits, cereal, yoghurts, farm eggs you can boil as you like, meat, cheese etc. Actually after many days of full scottish breakfast at other accomodations I was very happy with fruits and all the orher choices here. For us it was a very good breakfast. Staff was very nice. Restaurants are in next town, cca 5 min drive. It is out of town but that is why we chose it. Quiet place, our room faced the garden at the back, we didn't hear the traffic on the road (yes, it is by a main road: again that is why we chose it, it was on our route).

We spent one night in Oak Room. Royal quality of room. It was extremely spacious, very comfortable and stylish decorated. It was equipped with king-size bed and luxurious bathtub next to it. There was warm inside.

Nice hotel in a small town 30min away from Inverness. It looks old, because it is, but the room is really nice, the bathroom was modernized. Big soft towels were a plus. I was afraid because of so many critics saying it had mold, infiltration and other structural problems, but I haven't seen any of these.

The property is managed very well and you will feel home. The staff is super flexible and welcoming, they have a beautiful pub, a dinning area and a beautiful garden space. The overall vibe is awesome plus although it’s close to Inverness it is a small town al together which is a very country side vibe, loved it <3

Mwamba was friendly and helpful....he clearly is very committed to the guest house..and busy refurbishing the premises. The rooms were spotless as was the community rooms. The rooms had a microwave with cutlery and plates in the rooms

Nice, cosy hotel. The rooms are as advertised, have all the amenities we needed for a short stay. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the property has recently started dinner service from Wednesday-Sunday, which was delicious and reasonably priced. We would recommend this hotel to all.

This was a really fun stop for us on our highlands trip. A last minute booking out of season, and we were the only ones there. We didn't do any activities as our daughter is too small but they were very accomdating and the continental breakfast was great. The room was huge.

The food was amazing, and it's a beautiful, if isolated, area. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, and the history of the hotel, told through a collection of annual update letters from the owner, was strangely engaging, but I couldn't stop reading!
