Our stay in Cullen was even better than we could have imagined. The house itself was beautiful and had absolutely everything we could have ever needed. The hosts were really friendly and answered our many questions. Cullen was a lovely little town. Everyone was super friendly. There were lots of cute little shops and the cafes were delicious. The staff in them went above and beyond trying to make room for us all!

Loved the beach and the good range of pubs, places to eat and wee independent shops….as well as the CoOp. Places we would recommend- Cullen golf club, Yellow Deli, Lilly’s Kitchen, Brew and Renew in Portknockie. We were visiting with two dogs and it was great to have so many dog friendly places. Only slight disappointment was that the Seafield Hotel didn’t have a dog friendly space in their bar.

The seatown of Cullen has various beaches and an 18 hole golf course. The harbour beaches are good for paddle boarding and Cullen Sea School is located at the harbour. It is easy to get around the seatown but a walk uphill to shops and cafés. Cullen only has 1 supermarket but there is a large Tesco, Lidl and Co-op in Buckie which is only 15 minutes away by car. There is a walk along the old railway track to Portknockie which gives excellent views across the Moray Firth.

a lovely little town in a good location to explore the area further, with good facilities for holiday makers and a great view. We walked along the coast to Sunnyside beach we visited the heritage centre and from that visit we were encouraged to visit the grounds of Cullen house and the old kirk we ate in the Royal Oak and Cullen Bay and chips from the chippy Need to book for a Sunday evening meal Portsoy nearby is well worth a visit and has the best icecream shop

Very well equpped cottage with a great location just across the road from the beach.with parking right at the cottage. A short walk up the hill to Cullen with a selection of coffee shops and others. A short drive to Findlater Castle where filming for the Odyssey took place. Gordon Castle gardens are well worth a visit with a good venue for coffee/lunch.

Found that the locals were friendly and willing to chat. One coffee shop was very busy. The owner offered to look out for a table for us and made the coffee when the table became avaiable. They also sold books.

Cullen is pretty, friendly, has several amenities and is well placed for exploring all of the Morayshire coast on foot, by bus or by car. Our favourite places were the old harbour in Portsoy, Lossiemouth beach and the recently restored Tarlair art deco lido cafe. There's a geat deli, Indian takeaway and an evening meal at the Seafield Arms in the heated outside space with our dog was a special treat in Cullen itself.

Another great stay at Emahroo - perfect location for leaving the car, exploring Cullen town centre, beach, green spaces, shops, cafes and restaurants. With public transport on your doorstep to explore other towns and walk the coast. Always feel at home here, with a warm welcome and easy, quick communication with host if needed. Didn't get a chance to try out the new log stove, as weather warm and sunny for our stay, next time...

Good location for my purposes - visiting the Portsoy Boat Festival (10 mins drive), and in the centre of Cullen, close to sea, museum and shops. Pleasant helpful landlord, quiet room, comfortable bed, microwave and kettle, with tea, coffee etc. Bathroom large and modern, shared with one other room (though I never saw anyone else), and second toilet available right beside it. Everything very clean and pleasant.
