Our host was very attentive and socialized with us even though we only stayed one night. The breakfast was excellent : homemade fresh fruit salad, locally produced sauvages, etc.

Lovely little town with a good choice of eating places.
Lovely little town with a good choice of eating places. People are friendly and helpful. Ample parking and train station is close by. Also a regular bus service if needed. Loved the Fisher & Donaldson Bakery's marvellous selection of cakes on display. The Boudingait is a small, cosy pub that serves good meals. The Courtyard serves outstanding food and is reasonably priced. Would visit Cupar again.

Lovely old builds and churches to take photos of.
Lovely old builds and churches to take photos of. Some of the pubs are wee and might struggle to get a seat. But the lagers in all the pubs are good quality and the locals seemed friendly. Felt save walking at night and not all the busy on the streets. Good for a wee short break. Send the next day going to Trent's Muir Forrest. Worth the visit for a good stretch of the legs.

Plenty shops and pubs also places to eat , farmers market was on . Cupar is easy to get around, we ate in the apartment but most pubs in Cupar do good food . Train station not far from apartment with trains to Dundee , Kirkcaldy and Edinburgh.

My views on Cupar don't reflect on the property. It was ok.....basic but clean. Would have stayed in St Andrews if there had been suitable availability. Westport pub good. Had fish & chips take away from nearby chippie......not wonderful. I guess that the town would be a bit more lively at weekends.

Our host was superb and very knowledgeable about local area. You can easily travel to St. Andrews, Dundee and Edinburgh from this base. Lots to see and do. Had a lovely meal at The Boudingait in Cupar. And Libos chip shop is well worth a visit for a haggis supper

Although we have been here a couple of times we haven't...
Although we have been here a couple of times we haven't been able to get to know the town as well as we would like to. However, what we have seen we like so much that we are considering moving there. We have found it to be a friendly, welcoming and clean town with a great weekend market to boot. We are already planning our next visit.

From $186 per nightThis is a very grand place with its high ceilings and big rooms. At the same time it was comfortable and beautifully kept. It was right in the centre of town - with its own parking - and we enjoyed watching the town going about its business. It made a change from the rural cottages we usually book. There was a farmers market during our stay and we were able to get freshly made Arbroath Smokies for breakfast. Highly recommended! Cupar is conveniently located for visiting St Andrew’s, Dundee and the Fife coast.

From $47 per nightTraveled to Cupar from Caithness by motorbike, Westport was just a 2 minute walk from the bike shop where my bike was getting serviced, my room was comfortable and clean, I had dinner and breakfast from the cafe which were both excellent, the staff were very friendly, I would definitely stay again as it was just so convenient for my needs.

Very good breakfast watching the wildlife through the window. Good WiFi connection . Very quiet location in the countryside but only 5/10 mins from Cupar. Will stay again sometime.

The Inn supports the local village. The village supports the Inn. It's 10 out of 10 for meeting all health guidelines, It's a lovely, happy healthy place just down the road from Cupar. Plenty buses too
