We have a family member living in the area so we liked being...

We have a family member living in the area so we liked being in a location to see how the locals live. There are several places to eat, shop and a market once a month that we attended. We did not rent a car but we were driven by our family member to delightful places (walking trails, windy beaches, lovely daffodil lined roadways) all around Fife. The people we met in shops and restaurants etc were all very friendly.

Lovely wee town, easily accessible by train if you don't drive! Lots of cafes and places to eat and buy food. Surrounding Kingdom of Fife is stunning, Pitenweem, St.Andrews, Falkland all wirth a vist ( if you have a car! )

Cupar is ideally placed to travel around Fife..

Cupar is ideally placed to travel around Fife.. We mainly visited St Andrews as our great nephew was attending the university. We dined in St Andrews for all our meals so we cannot say anything about dining in Cupar. There seems to be plenty of choice when venturing around as to what and where to eat should suit many a healthy appetite.

This is a lovely location and Gillie is an excellent host.

This is a lovely location and Gillie is an excellent host. The rooms are all on the ground floor, lovely and very comfortable and overlooking the garden which is several hundred metres from the road down a private lane. This is a high standard b&b and the best accomodation I have stayed in when staying in the fife area.

This is a small town with big personality.

This is a small town with big personality. Fantastic restaurant, ( courtyard, no 10). Lovely independent shops. Fascinating architecture. And so near to many lovely places: Teases gardens, Kelly Castle, Falkland Palace, Pittenween coastal town, Ely beach.

Cupar is a historic town dating back to the 7th century..

Cupar is a historic town dating back to the 7th century.. An excellent and authentic example of Scottish tradition in particular around the area where Cupar Burgh Chambers is located. Visit the museum next to Cupar Station. Crossgate is it's main axial road and has everything you need. Fisher and Donaldson have two bakeries in the town - a small one in Crossgate and a tea room next to the large Tesco. Try their stovies, fudge doughnut or a marzipan fruit or Belgian biscuit but lot's more!! A wonderful base for exploring the beautiful Fife countryside with it's quaint villages and St Andrew's itself - get a bus and try some whiskies there!!" The Fife Folk Museum in the nearby village of Cerus is very interesting and has a tea room. The Deer Park a must go to venue with lots to do and see for all ages.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your lovely apartment especially as you are dog friendly. You’ve thoughts of every comfort and convenience down to the smallest detail. We appreciate how immaculately clean the apartment was and recognise your hard work in keeping it all so beautifully appointed. Your towels are the softest ever. While based in Cupar, we visited St.Andrew and Broughty Ferry which were both only a short journey away. Both have fabulous beaches. All in all a lovely short break. Many thanks Brian and Frances

The location was fantastic, even with storm Amy happening we werent that affected by it other than the steps for the hot tub being blown around the garden. There are a few walks around the lodges and the farm itself, Cupar and St Andrews aren't too far away for exploring.

Breakfast was brilliant, this set me up for the day. The location is outside Cupar but accessible by car, bus or taxi. It’s very peaceful and is a great base for exploring the surrounding area.
