The very friendly atmosphere and the lovely staff there. Superb breakfast, near enough the best we have ever had away from home. Beautiful clean accommodation with a spacious ensuite bathroom.
Bayards Cove Inn is located in the center of Dartmouth. This historic hotel has refurbished luxury bedrooms with free WiFi, and views over the river and sea. Friendly and helpful staff (makes all the difference after a long day of travel) and my room was amazing and full of character just liked I had hoped when booking a property of such long history. Very accommodating fitting me in for dinner, which was delicious! The little care package on checkout was a lovely touch.

Located in the town of Dartmouth, The Dartmouth Boutique B&B is less than a mile from the banks of the River Dart. Property was beautiful. It was clean and the breakfast was outstanding. Neil was a fantastic host and looked after us very well. Beautiful views from the dining room of the hills, Dartmouth and Dart. Would be lovely eating out there during the Summer. The property is high up but we are good walkers so didn’t cause us any issues. Taxis and buses are also an option. Great for parking too which is a godsend in Dartmouth.

We love beautiful Dartmouth and we like nothing more than watching the world go by with a coffee by the Harbour. Lovely places to eat and drink which we found reasonably priced. So much to do in the area surrounding too. Blackpool Sands is lovely but take your beach shoes! Loved Pretty Dittisham and North and South Sands. We will be back soon

Dartmouth's a little gem, there's not many places like this around, well worth a visit. Has a great atmosphere, very welcoming, friendly place, beautiful harbour, with a couple of ferries to nip across the Dart if you want. It still has a charm about it, with some great pubs, cafes and restaurants.
Lovely views good restaurants and shopping boat hire river trip lovelier ate at platform one and rock fish Both excellent attentive friendly staff Fresh fish Excellent local gin!! Good dog walking easy travelling to beaches. Historic town Our apartment had good off road parking adjacent to property.Dartmouth is easy to get around .
Dartmouth has a great friendly feel, there is always something going on and feels as if it has a bit more soul and character than some seaside resorts. It is not too far from the metropolis so more accessible than Cornwall and some of the more remote resorts. Not a place for beachcombers or fans of being in the sea but great if you want to look at it or indeed sail on it. Plenty of cultural excursions by boat or foot so leave the car in the car park and chill out here for a really relaxing break or even longer holiday.
Dartmouth is a beautiful harbour town with fabulous coastal walks & river boat trips. We had some very good food at Rockfish, Bushells, The Floating Bridge & a lovely brunch at Beth’s. Would recommend the pizza at The Ferry Boat Inn at Greenway.
It a great base for a holiday B&B stay near to Dartmouth town centre. This is family owned and is looked after by Jean who was a welcoming lady and she seems to do everything to make you feel welcome. the breakfast in the morning was scrumptious. This is basic, no frills accommodation but it is clean and well-kept, and you will not get better customer service anywhere. I would recommend this to anyone, and we will be back. We had a wonderful relaxing stay and didn't want to go home.
From the initial welcome to the final farewell, the service was excellent. Most of the hotel has been beautifully refurbished, such as the main restaurant and our bedroom were very tastefully done, yet keeping the character of the hotel. The location is superb, being right in the heart of Dartmouth, right by the harbour, with nice views out the front. Dinner by an open fire and breakfasts each morning had a wide range of tasty options. Highly recommended for a quiet break away.
Room was clean and tidy, bed was comfortable , nice selection of teas, coffees biscuits etc. just a short walk to the Naval College and local amenities. Hosts were friendly and accommodating, we would recommend a stay here to anyone although as with all of Dartmouth there is some steep hills and stairs which may be difficult for someone with limited mobility. 10/10 from us and whenever we need to return to Dartmouth we will stay here.
Harbourside has everything going for it - stunning riverside location, ease of access with parking outside, convenient for all local amenities and beside the boarding point for the passenger ferry and pleasure boats. The apartment is comfortable, well equipped and has a good ambiance, being flooded with light throughout most of the day. A gem of a find.
Lovely property, nicely furnished and comfortable. Central location in Dartmouth with harbour close by plus Marks and Spencer and restaurants round the corner. Lovely terrace with some views of Kingswere. Bedrooms were lovely with wonderful views and beds were very comfortable. Ideal downstairs bedroom en-suite for my dad who is 86.
Perfect location for a Dartmouth visit, right by the water with views across the water. Boutique hotel style bnb run by a nice couple that only opened in January this year. Amazing breakfast, and lovely interior design in all parts of the building. Our room was compact but had a nice terrace outside to sit and relax.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Dartmouth boutique BnB. Our room and the BnB itself was finished to a lovely standard and had all the desired facilities. The breakfast was superb and the all the staff were extremely attentive. It was a great location for exploring Dartmouth and nearby places too.
Beautiful property, very spacious. Brilliant location with parking in the centre of Dartmouth. Lots of shops and pubs nearby. Provided fans which was very appreciated in the hot weather. Dog friendly as long as they can manage stairs. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
Getting the keys would have been easier if I had read the email :-) In the end we ended up roaming around Dartmouth trying to find the place. Could tell accommodation had recently been refurbished it was very nice. Good parking facilities.
All rooms were spacious and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped for light cooking. Cute nautical decor. Very good location - Dartmouth is a great town with lots of character. Good pubs and restaurants. Wish we could have stayed longer.
This quirky and fun pub with rooms is perfectly located. The breakfasts were superb and staff at all times excellent. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a great place to stay in Dartmouth to stay here.
Very comfortable small independent family run hotel, with a good standard of accommodation and very good food offering. Ideally situated for a short walk to all of Dartmouths attractions.
The location was excellent, so close to Dartmouth town, yet out in the countryside. The weather was very kind so we were either at the beach or cooking on the bbq outside the chalet
The location of this property was amazing, you couldn't get more central. Dartmouth was a great place and would most definitely be coming back in the near future.
Room was great so was the pool and spa facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel ideally situated for getting to Dartmouth and Great Beach. Great Breakfast
The breakfasts were delicious and comprehensive, staff bent over backwards to help with anything, and the location, right in the middle of Dartmouth, was excellent.
Excellent location with parking which is like gold dust in Dartmouth.
Our stay in the Roundhouse exceeded our expectations, a perfect little retreat, luxurious, superbly provisioned, spotless and very comfortable. The Hall itself is definitely a "Grand Design" and Tony & Gordon were the perfect hosts, the attention to detail they provide is evidence of their love and passion for the place. The granola at breakfast was the best we've had and the fudge and biscuits in the room (and daily top-ups) were lovely. Dartmouth is just a short ferry ride across the river and really is very pretty, we were sad to have to leave, which is always a good sign.
The staff was wonderful. The manager Mark went out of his way to help us with everything from parking to a dinner table when they were fully booked. The food was excellent and the bar and wait staff were delightful. Great atmosphere all around.
Lovely room; warm, comfortable and clean. Fridge is a huge bonus as is the parking permit as Dartmouth was very busy when we visited. Great location in the village. Would definitely book here again.
