The cottage had everything that we needed for an excellent stay. Easy to use lock box for the key. There is a nice pub just down the road. The kitchen was very well equipped with all mod cons. There was even a brand new air fryer.. Very homely and well decorated. We cant wait to stay there again on our next trip to the Brecon Beacons. The cottage backs onto a very quiet church yard with a beautiful old Yew tree.

The most beautiful property in a gorgeous spot. Waking up to the sound of the river in a very comfy bed. Property was warm and welcoming. Fire was absolutely wonderful with lots of wood provided. Will definitely be back ☺️

Nice and quiet little village, but has a very fast main road...

Nice and quiet little village, but has a very fast main road running through, so there is a lot of road noise if you are staying near the road. It has a god central location so there are lots of walks not too far away.

Great base for walking, close to Brecon Beacons & the Usk...

Great base for walking, close to Brecon Beacons & the Usk Valley but also some local sights, the old church, & reputed oldest Yew Tree were fascinating, & the walk to Spennybridge is pleasant.
