What guests said about Drummore:

Very pretty, nice drive.

Very pretty, nice drive. Plan the time you go with a farmers callander to avoid the strong "natural" smell. But otherwise a nice place to see! Beach was lovely, water not as cold as the north sea. Nice quiet relaxing place to visit. Got some beautiful pottery from Linda Irving's studio on the way back from the Lighthouse!! Highly recommend trip to the lighthouse, stunning views.

What a fantastic location!

What a fantastic location! It was incredibly easy to stroll across the road in the early morning and enjoy the beach—whether walking the dog, fishing, crab hunting, kayaking, or simply skipping stones. The open-plan layout of the house was excellent. Even while preparing meals, I still felt connected to all the family activities. There was plenty of space for the kids to play and do their own thing. The birdlife was abundant, with shore birds visible from the front of the house and inland birds in the farmer’s field behind. It was a real treat for nature lovers. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We also appreciated the wealth of local information provided—recommendations for shops, pubs, cafés, and sightseeing spots were spot on. We visited several of the suggested places and had a great experience. Communication regarding arrival and key collection was clear and seamless.

Like a lot of seaside villages south of Girvan, Drummore needs some TLC. That said, there are a few businesses trying hard to bring the area up. The Cheese Loft was a nice place to stay and good base however we would have got lost many times without sat nav!! We enjoyed driving around the villages eating and drinking (not alcohol) too much! All delicious offerings in Mull of Galloway, Port William and Drummore. Shame Logan Botanic Gardens don’t allow dogs but otherwise a great time in the area.

We like to go out for a drink and a meal and the choice in Drummore is in our opinion poor. But if you are not into eating out or going for a drink and want to go somewhere that is away from the maddening crowds then Drummore could be the place for you. Luce bay is quite special and Dummore is not far from the various gardens and places to visit on the Mull.

I would prefer caravan in a more elevated position ie 3rd row. Should be allowed entry sooner during winter hours for example before dark! Relocate campsite sign to avoid guests driving up the dirt track road ! "Like me" Constructive criticism aside it was one of my best hogmanays ever #SilentPiper
