Knockinaam Lodge was just spectacular! The location, the building and the bedroom - awesome! We also had a fabulous degustation meal and were thoroughly impressed.

The view over the harbour was amazing, and the room, while small, was extremely comfy. The hotel has a pub/restaurant, and the food there (breakfast included) was very tasty! The staff were all helpful and pleasant, and helped us with everything we needed. Portpatrick, and the entire region, is very pretty, it's a good idea to go explore the surroundings. My suggestion: go to Wigtown, Scotland's national book town.

All the staff went above & beyond to ensure we had the best experience. They were professional informative caring & friendly. We had a lovely view over the golf course & saw deer at night & beautiful sunset. The meals were delicious great choice. We would definitely recommend & hope to go back soon.

I loved everything, the outdoor hot tub and Projector screen outside too , the separate seating area with fire pit. Beautiful wee pod. I also paid for the sauna experience which was absolutely brilliant. Great lay out ,well worth it

After an initial problem with the heating system the staff at the Mount Stuart Hotel responded quickly and provided an excellent alternative. The property was well equipped, spotlessly clean and excellent value for our long weekend.
