It was near to the station , just 10 minutes of walk and located in the center of the city. The idea of room is what attracts me, it seems like living in a prison for a day as the theme is something like that. There is facility of free tea , coffee , hot chocolate in the pub.

Fort William is shadowed by Great Britain’s highest peak, Ben Nevis, and lies on the shores of pretty Loch Linnhe. The Scottish Highland’s 2nd biggest city attracts hordes of hikers, climbers and mountain bikers, enhancing its self-proclaimed reputation as the ‘outdoor capital of Scotland’.
In the city centre, on High Street, is the West Highland Museum that explains local Highland history. The West Highland Way is a famous, long-distance walking route that begins and ends just outside Fort William.
The Nevis Range ski centre and Nevis Range gondola provides a stunning view of the Great Glen. A downhill mountain-biking track also begins here. This breath-taking track has hosted numerous world cups as well as the 2007 World Championships. Stop along the way to try the local whiskey at Ben Nevis Distillery.
Named after William of Orange, Fort William has been home to the Clan Cameron for many generations. Booking.com invites you to soak up the outdoor highlights and history of this charming city and surrounding countryside with its extensive range of hotels, bed and breakfasts and guest houses.
Cruachan hotel is situated very close (walking distance in mild weather) to the main street of Fort William. Free parking is available and check in is super easy. There are elevators to the higher floors so if you are travelling with large bags, there is no need to lug them up stairs. We woke up to snow on the morning that we stayed, and it was so beautiful to see it falling across the Loch from the window in our room - very picturesque! Try Spice Tandoori for a delicious indian dinner in the main street of Fort William.
Nice sized room and comfy bed, good sized bathroom and hot shower. We paid a bit more for a loch side view, but the windows were not very big on the top floor, but we didn't go for the hotel view. Breakfast was fine and staff were great. We were doing a stop-over on the way from Yorkshire to Skye, we have stayed in Fort William centre before but due to a huge world cycling event, there was low availability. The Hotel is a bit dated with a few frayed carpets in the stair well, but it was fine overall.
Really enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Muthu Fort William Hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Nick the bar manager who always found time to talk with us and made us feel very welcome. Also Daweep.and Romel.on Reception who were very good too. Other staff members would talk too, sorry don't have names. We were celebrating my husband's 70th birthday and he was truly spoilt. Food was very nice Would recommend if you looking for a quiet hotel in Fort William. We'll be back
AVOID !!! POOR SERVICE The hotel is at middle of nowhere, was horrible weather, on arrival was looking ok, but, internet don’t work, the restaurant can attend just half of residents, so, I arrived 17:30 pm, tried to book a table, but no options, no dinner available, so I’ve been forced to leave to other hotel in centre of fort William, because no options or even refound, don’t stay in Croit Anna, waste of money.
Fort William

The view from the living room is beautiful (as well as the views from the kitchen and one bedroom). And it had plenty of space for my adult family of 5. Overall, a wonderful place near the center of Fort William!
Fort William
Good place to stay for a nights stop over in Fort William. Felt more of a small hotel rather than a B&B but provided everything you needed all the same and a good breakfast.
It was a very clean apartment, location was excellent for hikers in the Fort William area, also kitchen had everything to make your own meals, loved the coffee maker.
