Overlooking Fowey Port and the sea, this luxury hotel with an indulgent spa retreat and fun kids' facilities is a 5-minute walk from the sandy Readymoney Cove. Everything. Location, parking, spa, staff, bedroom, bathroom, food, grounds, play area...I could go on. I arrived thinking, 'Oh no, it's posh, and I wanted laid back Cornwall!' I couldn't have been more wrong. Fowey Hall is relaxed, friendly, helpful, gorgeous. The staff are wonderful, the manageress excellent. We had a hitch with a taxi that wasn't booked, and the staff could not have gone out of their way more to make it up to us, even offering us a gift voucher to make up for the trouble. Wonderful dinner, gorgeous surroundings. Best kid-friendly hotel I've stayed at, whilst still managing to be chilled out for adults. Well done the Fowey Hall team!
Set on the banks of the Fowey River Estuary in Bodinnick, The Old Ferry Inn has provided food and cozy accommodations for over 400 years. It features a panoramic restaurant and traditional Cornish... views were great, room was cozy, dinner (on the property) was fantastic (we ate there 2 nights and 2 breakfasts), In the evenings, the pub filled up and there was a festive atmosphere. It appears dogs are allowed, because several pub guests had them tucked neatly under tables. It was really nice to have dinner there. The Boulliabaise (sp?) was the best I have ever had. Also, another reason we liked it so much is that you can take at least 2 long (5-7 mile) hikes straight out the door. Incredible views.
The Cormorant Hotel is perched on a hillside in the village of Golant, Cornwall. It has luxurious rooms with views over the River Fowey and an award-winning restaurant. first class staff, very polite, very friendly ,great chef. very nice location. clean .will be going back again. many thanks
Set in beautifully landscaped gardens, right by the water's edge, the award-winning Fowey Harbor Hotel has a scenic and peaceful location. Breakfast was very good. The room accommodation of the executive twin was great - the deck, also. Views spectacular. The restaurant/bar area was really done well with views.
Located in Fowey and within an 11-minute walk of St Catherines Castle, Old Embassy House features water sports facilities, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. Everything was wonderful! Very up-market B&B, quality fittings, nothing was cheap. Very classy establishment, run by lovely, helpful hosts. Max and Debs gave us great recommendations. They have a beautiful place and obviously love what they do. The breakfast was superb and the room very comfortable with quality items. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again. Yes, the bathroom door could have been more private but it was fine. The bathroom was new and clean and modern, as was the bedroom. We've stayed in hundreds of B&B's around the world and this is one of the best. You guys should really charge more for it!
Located in Fowey, Havener’s Bar and Grill is an inn that offers rooms and an apartment. The unit is 22 mi from Plymouth. All five bedrooms at the property feature a coastal theme. The room was convenient to the town square where all the festivities occurred
Located in Fowey, Upton House offers accommodations with free WiFi and flat-screen TV, as well as a shared lounge. A continental breakfast is available every morning at the bed and breakfast. Featuring a bar and a restaurant, King of Prussia is located in Fowey. This 4-star inn offers luggage storage space. Guests can enjoy river views. Room looked like it was freshly decorated and appointed with nice furniture. A good supply of "extras" if you had forgotten any (toothbrush/paste/razor/foam etc). A great Tassimo coffee making machine in the bedroom with a large array of different capsules to use. Perfect view over the estuary and ideally positioned for all the nearby restaurants. Nice cooked breakfast along with cereals, yogurts, fruit juices etc

I was there many years ago, staying in Fowey, with my husband. Did a long walk to the church where Daphne DuMaurier was married. Saw Menabilly in the distance as well. Had a nice TI. Not sure where it was this trip.
Beautiful harbour town with so many choices to eat and drink. Very hilly so not ideal 31 wks pregnant with twins! But stunning views on a sunny day. Enjoy a drink on the veranda of the old quay hotel and food in pinxto tapas bar on the esplanade was superb.
It is a charming Cornwall town. Parking is difficult but it was not overwhelmed by tourists. There are nice walks in the countryside across the harbor that are easily reached by small ferries. There is also good food in the town.
The Old Quay House Hotel was great, modern and comfy. We used the Polruan Ferry and took a long walk along the coast path. We returned to Fowey and ate lunch sat outside Pinxo tapas bar which was really tasty, we could have been in Spain! We had dinner in the Old Quay House hotel restaurant Q which was really good. The following morning a further mooch about the streets and shops in Fowey, bought some fudge and pasties for the kids at home, then we went to lunch at Sam's on the Beach in Polkerris after another coastal path walk. A perfect relaxing weekend away, could have stayed longer!
Wonderful choice of walks for all abilities. Ferry trips. Great pubs, good food. Very friendly locals. Interesting retail opportunities. Parking is a big issue and way too many cars go along the high street, there should be time restrictions for deliveries.
Fowey is a quaint Cornish harbor town which was perfect for a relaxing three day break. Lots of independently owned shops to explore, beautiful views, & great walks along the coastal path. We ate at the Luggar Pub, had breakfast and a spectacular cream tea at the Fowey Hotel. I'd definitely recommend both. We didn't have children with us but saw plenty of families enjoying fun times catching crabs, eating ice cream and playing on the beaches. The only thing missing in Fowey, for us, was a fish and chip shop !

From the minute we arrived we were made most welcome, Deb & Max went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay Great advice on eateries to places with visiting in the area. Breakfasts were to die for and their property has had a major refurbishment so every thing comfortable with a theme to suit the area. Fowey is certainly a place worth visiting make sure you stay with Deb & Max at The Old Embassy House.

The staff are amazing, friendly, personal, engaging, most helpful, zero attitude. The approach to service at this hotel is perfect and is particularly tailored to its particular look and feel and the family / couple vibe The location and view is outstanding. Although this is a family hotel and perfectly set up to accommodate little people, at no point was this an issue. No noise and no unruly kids.
