Beautiful country-chic pub, with a heavenly garden, roaming peacocks and fluffy hens. The food is first class with local sourced products. We spent the night and the room was lovely, nicely decorated and spacious. Last but not least, the staff and the owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. This place is a little piece of heaven on Earth. We will certainly visit it again.

We had a lovely stay at Fowlescombe Farm. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, not only about their wine selection and food offerings, but also about the history of the farm itself. You can really sense the passion and effort that has gone into creating and maintaining this place. The room was beautifully finished, with a distinctive, tasteful interior and carefully chosen furniture. Would definitely visit again.

Beautiful lodge in a little town, was perfect for a weekend getaway but I would recommend staying longer! Rooms and ensuites were clean and the staff were very nice and accomodating. They offer packed lunches if you plan to go for a long walk one day. There are heaps of walks to do in the area.

The rooms are spacious with very comfy beds. The staff are excellent (very friendly and helpful). It’s very close to everything, yet so quiet at night. Hardly any traffic, but parking right outside. Glorious terrace with great food and idyllic views.

Had an amazing stay. In beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. The pod had everything we needed and was spotless. The dogs loved it too. The staff were very friendly..a perfect stay and we will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Toni’s home in Totnes, in a well appointed room with a comfortable bed and all that we needed. It was beautifully quiet. She recommended and made a dinner booking for us at the local pub which was excellent and a short, pretty stroll away. In the morning she cooked us a delicious breakfast with freshly made bread. Toni is both interesting and kind and we enjoyed her company. We’d love to stay there again one day.

Lovely quiet situation, house is ideal for 4 adults and a child, might be too small for larger groups but ideal for us. Ate at the pub in the village one evening, had to drive to a supermarket for provisions but this was easy.
