This building has been here for more than 50 years and I was excited to finally stay, it did not disappoint. The renovations are modern and beds comfortable. The food is fabulous and the pub has everything you could want. Tony was a wonderful host and helped the children and I get settled withbour bags and choose our meals. Thank you for the hospitality! The views are second to none...the narrow road from Killin is worth the drive.

Didn't have the continental breakfast. However the staff was eager to please everyone and helpful. We did have tea there and OMG...everything was perfect! Loved the location, very picturesque. Will definitely be there again..

The Annexe room was perfect for the wee dog we travelled...

The Annexe room was perfect for the wee dog we travelled with . The room was clean, warm and comfortable and suited us just fine. Both our dinner and the following day’s breakfast was delicious - staff were friendly and welcoming.

Good area for attractions, we went to finlarig castle ruin,...

Good area for attractions, we went to finlarig castle ruin, we also spent the afternoon at the Scottish Crannog Centre which was amazing! I couldn't get my 10 year old son to leave. We went for a swim in loch Tay as well, stunning place. The Falls of Dochart Inn was really nice, nice staff, good food and a beautiful old building.

Good food, good room. Nice location in a scenic place. Downside is the shambolic car parking.... Total free for all... Cars all over the place and can box you in... Beware if you need to move in a hurry,..

Killin is a lovely small town in a beautiful central...

Killin is a lovely small town in a beautiful central location at the end of Loch Tay. An excellent base for travel to Perthshire , The Trossachs or Glen Coe and Fort William. A small number of excellent hotels in Killin.

The scenery and the views were amazing with lovely walks .

The scenery and the views were amazing with lovely walks . The Greek restaurant was good value and excellent food . It was called the River Inn .. The killin Hotel did good food in the evening but not value for breakfast.Struggled to get a breakfast before 10 am in the coffee shops

The location was very good, the hotel was very nicely decorated, modern but keeping the old world charm. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The food in the evening was ok but we had expected a better menu, not a lot of choice if you didn’t like salmon or burgers. I had venison burger which was quite gristly, and quite crispy on one side! However, the salmon platter was excellent, and my husbands venison stew which was a ‘special’ was good.

This hotel is v handy just off the main road from lochernhead to tyndrum. V friendly and helpful staff . Room was a good size and bed v comfy. Clean. We slept well. Breakfast was lovely . Ate in the bar/restaurant in the evening of arrival. Menu is mainly sharing cold platters but v tasty and well priced.

The host was really nice and we did feel welcome at all times, the breakfast was good too. The place has a nice atmosphere and a cosy vibe to it. The location is perfect for sightse in Killin and day trips to Glencoe area.
