On arrival there were no instructions on how to get into the property. When we rang to get the key code and then later had to ring again for the wifi code, the host was certainly not friendly in his response!
There was no welcome tray or tea or milk or anything!
The place wasn’t the cleanest!
There was popcorn under the coffee table and 3 enormous spiders in the house.
All the cups / plates needed washing first, wine stains in the wine glass and sticky all down the kitchen cupboard. The cutlery drawer was dirty and hob dirty, fridge sticky down the side.
The bathroom had not been cleaned and there was no bin in bathroom.
There were no instructions at all as to how to work anything other than the air fryer which was the only source for cooking apart from the dirty hob and only 1 saucepan and 1 frying pan.
No oven and no microwave (these were listed as available in the facilities by Booking.com).
Very minimal equipment, you couldn’t cook a meal there, no kitchen equipment at all.
The fan extractor was in a filthy state.
There were no leaving instructions.
We stripped the beds and put the towels in the bathroom and put the rubbish out but had no instructions.
The worst part was the horrendous stains on the pillows and duvets, quite disgusting, and only discovered when we stripped the beds on leaving.
I am sorry but this was not what we expected from a property booked through booking.com!
