The Dovecote Inn is one of those places that i don't really want to tell anyone else just how nice it is just in case it gets far too popular & we don't get to stay again! The bedroom looks better than the website photo, which isn't usually the case! The idea of a breakfast tray in the room is perfect, especially with an early start like we had. We had a meal in the restaurant, delicious, all three courses! Hope we get to stay again.

Lovely location on ths edge of the village. Recently refurbished room with new furniture and carpet, very comfortable bed and good shower. Wide choice of evening meal, nicely cooked, generous portions and excellent value. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Please note this pub does not offer breakfasts.

Tumbleweed cottage has definitely got the wow factor. We would highly recommend staying here. Seth and Shaan will make your stay most enjoyable. The bedroom and ensuite was beautifully presented. Tea, coffee and light snacks available. Our evening meal and breakfast was of a high quality and plentiful. You will certainly not be disappointed with your stay. We wish we could have stayed for longer. How Seth and Shaan greeted you, you would think we had known them for a lifetime. Arriving in the dark, please look for the big flag at the gate.

Cuisinease is a recently renovated homestay in Ollerton, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. This homestay features free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi.

We only stayed for one night, as we were going to the Newark Showground, the following day. It was lovely! Excellent location, only 10 mins away from our destination. We were welcomed on arrival,and offered advice on nearby eating houses....The room was great, , the shower was lovely (girls remember your shower cap)as it was an overhead shower....Tea and coffee supplied...bed was so comfy! Breakfast was continental ,brought at the time,we requested...Nice & quiet ...would definitely stay again..

We had a really wonderful stay here, for a family of 6 it was perfect, both in size and comfort. The area is lovely and friendly, and nearby to all essentials. The garden is huge and allowed us to spend lots of time outside soaking up the sun. We would definitely stay here again!

A delightful little cottage just a stone's throw from Sherwood Forest. Furnished in a very unique and tasteful way. Equipped with everything you need, and made even more cosy by the fireplace and comfortable sofa. It was a real pleasure to stay there. Sam, the owner, was kind and helpful. Highly recommended!
