It was warm everywhere, beautiful crisp cotton on the beds, plenty of hot water, a bath AND a shower, great bathroom products, great use of an outdoor pool (I’m a sea swimmer and the sea was too rough), great hot tub and spa facilities and a quiet peaceful room.

The location is stunning. Right on the coast path. The restaurant was delicious and with amazing views. We got upgraded to the villa. A real treat. There are extension works being conducted so in 2027, this place will even be better!

What guests said about Lizard:

Such a special place to visit!

Such a special place to visit! The Lizard, the most southerly point of mainland Britain, is absolutely beautiful, with fabulous beaches, stunning scenery and some of the friendliest locals. This visit was particularly special for me as my aunty and uncle used to own and run The Witchball Restaurant back in the day, and we were back in the area for my cousin’s wedding. It brought back so many amazing childhood memories and made our visit even more memorable. And, of course, you can’t visit Cornwall without enjoying the food! The perfect place for a proper Cornish pasty, delicious ice cream and freshly baked scones with Rodda’s clotted cream and jam. ❤️ A beautiful part of Cornwall that will always hold lots of very special memories for me!

Lizard is a loverly little village with a lot to offer visitors considering its size, we found everyone friendly and willing to chat. The coastal walks are stunning if not hard work if you are not as fit as you used to be. A journey to Cadgwith Village for the freshest crab sandwiches I have ever had is a must if you enjoy crab, although the walk nearly killed us to the point of calling for a cab to take us back to the hotel :-)

What an amazing part of the country, crystal clear water and breathtaking views. A wonderful cafe selling Cornish cream teas looking over The Lizard. A steep slope going down to the beach was hard to climb up for someone like myself who has breathing problems, but was definitely worth the effort. Such a clean a well kept village with plenty to see and do.

Beautiful area for walking and looking out for wildlife.

Beautiful area for walking and looking out for wildlife. Lots of good food to eat. The Top house Inn, Coast, Jimanjys Thai and Polpear cafe at Lizard point all had excellent food. If you can stay at the Old Bakery, Lizard.

The hotel itself is wonderful as is the on-site restaurant. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have a good stay. We loved the location, beautiful scenery and walks within a very short distance. The hotel is very much set up for a cozy, relaxed feeling and it achieves it very well. We found ourselves coming home a little earlier in the evenings just to be able to unwind at the bar and snug area before bed.
