We liked everything about this hotel. We paid extra for the SUPERIOR room, you get an extra sofa bed if needed. The room was of a good size, bathroom as expected, with a shower over the bath. The room was quiet and warm The TV & WiFi were great. The breakfast was EXCELLENT, English & Welsh Breakfast options. The evening restaurant was very enjoyable, but lacking in atmosphere due to its size. The breakfast room had great views across open countryside. This is a very nice hotel, and YES we would rebook as it's so good, an amazing find in such a beautiful location, easy for the ferry ports, shopping and access to the midlands etc.

Clean , stocked , thoughtfully done , stunning surroundings , great stay overall. EV charger and children’s toys were a bonus. A short and sweet stay. As an add on - maybe blinds along the living room windows would add slightly to the comfort / decor.

It was a beautifully renovated home, and our hosts were so very kind and welcoming! Jane prepares a very tasty and varied breakfast and the fresh and colorful cut roses were a treat for the eye as well! Lots of loving care is visible and palpable at Pontyclerc! The rooms had everything you could possibly need and were immaculately clean! Exceptional stay!

Helen and Steve were extremely welcoming. The room was spacious with a space to sit to relax. The bed was very comfy and the beautiful home and surrounds were amazing, quiet and peaceful but still close to the village. We were greeted on our arrival with tea and cake which was delicious. Breakfast was also first class with their own eggs and home made bread. We have been on the road for a number of weeks and I would rate this bed and breakfast as the best we have stayed at so far. The Love nest was lovely, perfect getaway for us! I was able to book on the day within two hours of check in and the hot tub was already hot and able to use!

Loved the peaceful silence, with only the sound of birds in the background. The cabin and bathroom were very clean, and we really appreciated the lovely complimentary touches, including a bottle of champagne. The hot tub was amazing, and the kids had a great time playing. The natural surroundings and resort trails were wonderful for walks with the kids.

Lovely place, very friendly people and plenty to do, nature...

Lovely place, very friendly people and plenty to do, nature reserve is 400 yards away and plenty of pubs for food etc, we went into Swansea for the day and visited a lovely little seaside town called Mumbles and walked along the seafront!
