Lovely village pub with chatty locals, friendly owner and team, delicious dinner and breakfast, comfy bed in a very clean, well appointed room (and bathroom with good shower), coffee pod machine, parking on site - what more could you want?! 10/10 from us Aussies in our 60s. Thank you :)

Stayed here with mum and sister whilst walking Offas Dyke, and it was absolutely perfect. Bit of a walk off the trail however it was the closest option! Sheila and her partner were incredible hosts, so accommodating and thoughtful. They have a fridge next to the rooms for fresh milk and water. The evening meal was exceptional - better than your standard pub fare and the breakfast menu was really good. The room was very comfortable and they upgraded us to have more space. Loved it!

The view at this site was unbelievable. The owners have also very smartly separated sites so it feels very private. There were not many frills, but I was not looking for frills. It was a top notch no-frills clamping experience with a view like I have never seen before.
