We came two days to visit the Dales and we found the Old Swan location ideal to explore Malham, Ingleton and Aysgarth. Spacious standard double room with all amenities we needed for one night. We found the bed comfortable and quiet to sleep in. As it's a B&B Hotel the restaurant operates downstairs as normal, so dine-in or full English/pastry options are available for breakfast for a reasonable price. The only thing we couldn't sort out was to access Netflix or Disney Plus on the TV, but despite this we overall had a great experience. We recommend it.

The area was stunning and it was our first visit to The Dales. We only had one day and our lovely hosts, Zoe and Keith, had produced a bespoke, really brilliant laminated map of a 25 mile circuit taking in Malham Cove, Janet's Fosse, Goredale Scar, Malham Tarn, Grassington, Burnsall and Skipton. It's wetted our appetite for future visits and we would definitely stay with Zoe and Keith again. Beautiful property restored and renovated with care, style and love. Fabulous service and great accommodation.

Malham is a beautiful pretty village with views to die for.

Malham is a beautiful pretty village with views to die for. It has a very relaxing feeling about it and makes you feel chilled. A wonderful friendly place. Loved it. Perfect for walking and climbing. Lovely little tea shop and choice of pubs to relax and dine. Would definitely recommend the Lister Arms to stay and dine. Its easy to get around Malham, however in the busy season you have to be mindful of the parking facilities. The roads are very narrow coming up to Malham so care and courtesy is required.

Malham is rugged countryside, but the views are stunning. Even though the weather wasn't the best it didn't detract from the scenery. Only downside is there being only 2 buses a day to and from Malham.

Lovely place to relax in whilst surrounded by the most beautiful countryside that you could wish for. Great to have two pubs as well, belonging to the same group. If I won the lottery I think I would just go one weekend and stay!! Do I love Malham? Yes!!

Fabulous place to visit.

Fabulous place to visit. Lots of walking options including easy and accessible as well as longer and more challenging day hikes. Some evening good options including the village with others a short drive or longer walk away.

Lovely village surrounded by amazing limestone scenery. Two nice pubs and a good cafe. Bus service. Good paths and signposts. Take a carrier bag on your walks to collect litter, as this is unfortunately a popular place for inconsiderate visitors!

The location was on Cove Road very close to the Pennine Way and Malham Cove. Really quiet, on the edge of Malham village, with a private parking space. I met the property owners, who live next door, and they reassured me that I could ask about the property or area. Beautiful views from the property and a garden to sit in. Everything was comfortable and with thoughtful decor.

Great location. This was a dog friendly hotel and the first time we had taken our dog. The rooms were really clean and you wouldn’t know that dogs were allowed in the rooms. Nice little touches with drinks, toiletries. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was fabulous

The hotel staff stated it was dog friendly, not just dog tolerant, and this really showed. This made us feel very comfortable on what was our first hotel stay with our six month old dog.
