United KingdomWe liked everything ❤️ comfortable sofa with lots of cushions, fantastic shower and absolutely equipped kitchen… everything what you can need and more, spare dogs bowls and towels, additional towels for us if we need it. Just like at home😍 lots of board games for children and families, soft carpet to even sit on it and walking barefoot. Hosts are absolutely fabulous, friendly and welcoming. Sue and Howard were our first hosts who welcomed us personally . They show us everything in and out. Just can’t recommend more… lovely place, lovely people, just perfect.

United KingdomWarm hospitality. The owner is a gentleman with a wealth of life experience. It was a joy to have spent some time with him, he showed us around and the cattle, shared insights on their cattle business.
The property had a lot of character to it. And its got some interesting history to it as well.
Overall, was a memorable stay!!

As I was born in West Cumbria, The county has a very special place in my heart. The sea end the fells are magnificent, The people are lovely and welcoming, Carnt wait to come back. GED the host is very pleasant and welcoming .

It has the feel of a small village with not much around...
It has the feel of a small village with not much around except houses and a few shops like Tesco and shell garage. I'd recommend looking at places further outside of Millom. The good thing is, it's really quiet and peaceful there. The holiday park there is great and we would have stayed there longer, we travelled out of millom and found places to go like muncaster, silecroft etc.

Very nice clean and tidy cottage.
Very nice clean and tidy cottage.
Slightly out of the way however I found it very quiet and peaceful even though it is on a farm.
Only negative comment I would make would be the adjoining bedrooms however with the layout this is unavoidable.
I would still recommend.
We book again.

Didn’t have anything interesting in the town itself it was quite run down.. which was disappointing.. but over all it hasn’t put us off as a family to visit again in the near future to have another holiday at port haverigg marina village..

Lovely rspb nature reserve Hodbarrow and beach area, Haverigg. Very photogenic. Town has a few good shops and a new Norman Nicholson house exhibition opening soon, if you're a fan of the renowned poet

It was quite a way from the town( and through some of the...
It was quite a way from the town( and through some of the old industrial estate), but dont be put off as the view from the house, a stone throw from the Duddon estuary and the backdrop of the mountains was
just superb.

Visiting family in Millom. Fantastic property, very warm centrally heated and also gas fire in living room. Everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The whole place was a home away from home. Although we did not have a car there is a great spot in a private parking area at the rear of the house. Communication with the owner was very good. I would highly recommend this place for visiting Millom, Haverigg and the beautiful surrounding areas. Thankyou for a splendid stay Ian&Steff 😊

Great decking and location. Very quiet prior to families arriving, great to see kids playing outside, the van was very clean and well stocked if you like cooking, dodgy frying pan but not an issue for me. Everything was in walking distance and just stock up before you arrive, no big supermarkets in the area but local shops if needed. Reserve is fab if you are a bird watcher , would definitely stay here again. Furr baby friendly

David was excellent at providing detailed information about absolutely everything! Amazing location overlooking the Duddon Estuary and the backdrop of the Cumbrian mountains. Loved watching and listening to all the birds in the estuary on an evening.
