United KingdomWe liked everything ❤️ comfortable sofa with lots of cushions, fantastic shower and absolutely equipped kitchen… everything what you can need and more, spare dogs bowls and towels, additional towels for us if we need it. Just like at home😍 lots of board games for children and families, soft carpet to even sit on it and walking barefoot. Hosts are absolutely fabulous, friendly and welcoming. Sue and Howard were our first hosts who welcomed us personally . They show us everything in and out. Just can’t recommend more… lovely place, lovely people, just perfect.

United KingdomWarm hospitality. The owner is a gentleman with a wealth of life experience. It was a joy to have spent some time with him, he showed us around and the cattle, shared insights on their cattle business.
The property had a lot of character to it. And its got some interesting history to it as well.

As I was born in West Cumbria, The county has a very special place in my heart. The sea end the fells are magnificent, The people are lovely and welcoming, Carnt wait to come back. GED the host is very pleasant and welcoming .

It has the feel of a small village with not much around...
It has the feel of a small village with not much around except houses and a few shops like Tesco and shell garage. I'd recommend looking at places further outside of Millom. The good thing is, it's really quiet and peaceful there. The holiday park there is great and we would have stayed there longer, we travelled out of millom and found places to go like muncaster, silecroft etc.

Very nice clean and tidy cottage.
Very nice clean and tidy cottage.
Slightly out of the way however I found it very quiet and peaceful even though it is on a farm.
Only negative comment I would make would be the adjoining bedrooms however with the layout this is unavoidable.
I would still recommend.
We book again.

Didn’t have anything interesting in the town itself it was quite run down.. which was disappointing.. but over all it hasn’t put us off as a family to visit again in the near future to have another holiday at port haverigg marina village..

Lovely rspb nature reserve Hodbarrow and beach area, Haverigg. Very photogenic. Town has a few good shops and a new Norman Nicholson house exhibition opening soon, if you're a fan of the renowned poet

It was quite a way from the town( and through some of the...
It was quite a way from the town( and through some of the old industrial estate), but dont be put off as the view from the house, a stone throw from the Duddon estuary and the backdrop of the mountains was
just superb.

I cannot fault our stay, it was fantastic all round. The hosts clearly make an effort to make the caravan as comfortable as possible, and it had everything we needed for our stay. The box of toys was a hit too. The location is perfect for exploring the Lake District and very close to Haverigg Beach and a playpark too. Highly recommended.

We loved the peace and quiet. The view from the caravan was relaxing.
The caravan was lovely, and all your needs catered for.
The Ski Bar on site was friendly and was the Habour Hotel about 10 mins walk away.
We wished we could have stayed longer and will be back.

A lovely spacious en-suite room with extensive views of the fells in a quiet location just a short drive from Silecroft. We would highly recommend Hole House Farm for anyone wanting somewhere close to the sea and hills in a quiet corner of the Lake District.

Good location with easy access to southern Lake District. Plenty of wildlife on lake in front of home which had a nature reserve on far side. Very clean, well equipped and comfortable mobile home. Excellent value for money
