United KingdomWe liked everything ❤️ comfortable sofa with lots of cushions, fantastic shower and absolutely equipped kitchen… everything what you can need and more, spare dogs bowls and towels, additional towels for us if we need it. Just like at home😍 lots of board games for children and families, soft carpet to even sit on it and walking barefoot. Hosts are absolutely fabulous, friendly and welcoming. Sue and Howard were our first hosts who welcomed us personally . They show us everything in and out. Just can’t recommend more… lovely place, lovely people, just perfect.

United KingdomWarm hospitality. The owner is a gentleman with a wealth of life experience. It was a joy to have spent some time with him, he showed us around and the cattle, shared insights on their cattle business.
The property had a lot of character to it. And its got some interesting history to it as well.

As I was born in West Cumbria, The county has a very special place in my heart. The sea end the fells are magnificent, The people are lovely and welcoming, Carnt wait to come back. GED the host is very pleasant and welcoming .

It has the feel of a small village with not much around...
It has the feel of a small village with not much around except houses and a few shops like Tesco and shell garage. I'd recommend looking at places further outside of Millom. The good thing is, it's really quiet and peaceful there. The holiday park there is great and we would have stayed there longer, we travelled out of millom and found places to go like muncaster, silecroft etc.

Very nice clean and tidy cottage.
Very nice clean and tidy cottage.
Slightly out of the way however I found it very quiet and peaceful even though it is on a farm.
Only negative comment I would make would be the adjoining bedrooms however with the layout this is unavoidable.
I would still recommend.
We book again.

Didn’t have anything interesting in the town itself it was quite run down.. which was disappointing.. but over all it hasn’t put us off as a family to visit again in the near future to have another holiday at port haverigg marina village..

Lovely rspb nature reserve Hodbarrow and beach area, Haverigg. Very photogenic. Town has a few good shops and a new Norman Nicholson house exhibition opening soon, if you're a fan of the renowned poet

It was quite a way from the town( and through some of the old industrial estate), but dont be put off as the view from the house, a stone throw from the Duddon estuary and the backdrop of the mountains was
just superb.

It's such an amazing place to stay for a little break. We really enjoyed the view - we couldn't get enough of it! Having the terrace where we could enjoy food and drinks was super nice (no seagul attacks).And the property itself was so much better than we expected! So clean and cosy,with cute little decor details 😊 The fireplace in the living room was added bonus that we didn't know we need - we had it on every evening👌Great location to explore Lake District. We are super happy with our stay👌

Very disappointing stay The breakfast room was very untidy A vacuum cleaner propped up against the shelf where there was breakfast cereal A pile of linen on another table My husband asked for a bowl and milk for cereal and the response. Oh I was hoping you wouldn't ask that as we have run out of milk I could go to the shops if you like We declined What b an b does not have enough milk for breakfast

Caravan is one of the very best I have stayed in and I have stayed in a lot of them over the years.
Everything you need is supplied and the caravan just feels cosy. Having Netflix was a massive plus we appreciated it.
Rod the owner is superb and made sure we had everything. The milk and biscuits were such a lovely gesture.
If we are in Millom again we would definitely stay here.

A bright, modern property with a fabulous garden on the edge of a nature reserve, offering everything one could need for a relaxing stay in this quiet, undiscovered corner of Cumbria. It's in a great position to explore the Western Lake District or Cumbrian coastline with its stunning beaches. Well worth a visit! Thank you, Emma and Darren for a wonderful short break!
