You feel genuinely welcome and embraced both by the owners (Margaret and Owen) and by the ladies (Natalia and Louise) serving a lovely made to order breakfast exactly how you like it. The hotel is in perfect shape and the room is comfortable with a lovely view over the ocean. This was our holiday from our long term travel, a fantastic space. Great pool, cafe, and the gym was excellent I used it every day of our stay. It is located outside of Newquay but this means it is very quiet but still close enough by car. The view from our room was exceptional and walking along the cliff to the next bay was good with access to the beach.

Location, location, location! Breathtaking views and close proximity to Newquay centre. Upgrades have and continue to be made and those complete to date and excellent. Bus stop serving Newquay Airport and Padstow literally opposite hotel! Staff were very courteous and friendly especially Julie who certainly enhanced our stay!

Everything about this place is fantastic.

Everything about this place is fantastic. We loved the restaurant, the room, the bed was so comfy and the staff made it all perfect. Easy place to stay to explore many attractions and towns in Cornwall.

No complaints whatsoever.

No complaints whatsoever. Hotel was beautiful, food amazing and nothing too much trouble for any of the staff. Perfectly positioned to travel throughout Cornwall and only 20 minutes from Newquay airport.

We felt that the pub was formulaic in its approach to food...

We felt that the pub was formulaic in its approach to food and service and lacking in the sort of atmosphere that we were looking for - the room which granted was standard was generous but the ventilation and light were very poor. The location does not work unless you have a car.

I loved Mitchell it is very easy to get to off the A30.

I loved Mitchell it is very easy to get to off the A30. Our room 10 was a little dark as it was downstairs whereas my friend had room 11 which was fabulous. Very clean and large rooms and wonderful bathrooms. Just need better pillows :)

Lovely hotel very very dog friendly. Booked a standard room for one night. Room large, clean, fantastic bathroom. Didn't realise when I booked hotel had dog bed, bedding, bowls and a paper bag with dog treats and a ball. My dog was very happy! It's set in Lovely grounds. Loads of free parking on site. Pub is very comfy and cosy, beautifully decorated. Staff very friendly and professional. Would recommend and return.
