Location was fantastic. Host had great communication but we still had privacy. Lots of lovely touches, for example locally produced teas, welcome treats, dog biscuits and a hamper with blankets and hot water bottles.

The apartment is located just a short walk from the train station, shops, restaurants, and the harbor. There is a beautiful view of the islands from the living room windows. The apartment is equipped with everything you could possibly think of. We didn’t miss a single thing during our entire stay. Comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen, and our kids especially appreciated the huge amount of Duplo and other toys that were available. Thank you, we really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely come back

We absolutely loved our stay here. The cottage was impeccable, super clean, comfortable, and had everything we could possibly need. The bed was extremely comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped, and even the small details, like the games and outdoor barbecue area, made it feel special and welcoming. The location is honestly perfect. You have a shop nearby, beautiful walks all around, and it is ideally placed between Fort William and Mallaig, making it very easy to explore the Highlands and come back comfortably in the evening. The views are stunning and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. Everything about this place felt thoughtful and well cared for. It was one of those stays where you immediately feel comfortable and at home. We genuinely could not fault anything and would absolutely come back again. Highly recommended.

What guests said about Morar:

Location is about 2.5 miles out of Morar.

Location is about 2.5 miles out of Morar. Morar is a lovely wee village. No shops only the Hotel which in our opinion was poor standards. That said we were there in November out of season . However for the price we would have expected better service and quality. Mallaig is lovely as is the surrounding area. We wont be back , sadly the hotel experience spoiled a very special birthday.

The super helpful staff made us feel very welcome.

The super helpful staff made us feel very welcome. They had the knack of knowing when we needed help. we always felt the staff had time for us - as it should be, There is no lift and as 'older', to put it mildly, visitors, the climb to our room on the third floor was a bit like climbing Ben Nevis and the descent was even more difficult with our dodgy knees. We had chosen a sea view room and it turned out these are on the higher floors. The staff could not have been more helpful, short of carrying us up and down on their backs, and made sure we knew they would carry things up and down for us.

Beautiful spot, if I'd stayed longer I could have explored more on foot. But other than the station, the hotel, and a Thai takeaway with a notice saying they were sold out, there's not much there.

Fabulous holiday cottage! Thank you so much for our gorgeous welcome pack!! The cottage is so clean, has everything you need for a holiday stay! The location is brilliant a stones throw away to Loch Morar and very close to Morar train station too- we were able to venture into Fort William and ride over the Glenfinnan viaduct!! So many more places nearby-Mallaig, lots of beaches to explore ! We dined a couple of nights at the Morar hotel- well worth a visit and a short walk down the road!

Excellent, attentive staff... even allowed a little early checkin after a long drive up to Morar... The rooms & dining facilities are of a high standard.... good menu both in bar & dining room... breakfast selection good as well... Majority of staff are great - however Akrim - takes the time to check and make sure your stay is comfortable & that you have everything you need...

The room was spotlessly clean, modern and very comfortable - and I had a very restful night's sleep. I also really liked the location - it was rural, but only ten minutes from the ferry terminal and Mallaig (and even closer to the beach at Morar). The continental 'breakfast box' was great, and I was sorry I didn't get the chance to enjoy more of it.

We had a fantastic stay at Glenwood B&B. The host, Claire, was outstanding, friendly and very helpful. Very airy, spacious room, nice big comfortable bed. The graze box breakfast was very tasty and substantial. Glenwood sits in a lovely location a short walk from the Silver sands of Morar, we hope to return in the future.
