United KingdomWhat a lovely surprise! The Art House B&B is a little treasure. I had the option of staying at staying at a national hotel chain and I'm so happy that I choose Art House B&B. It's quirky, but I like quirky. And Christine is a great host. I'd definitely book again and spend some time enjoying the local area. It was a lovely and homely stay.

South AfricaWe stayed on the ground floor in what seems to be a new addition to the building. The room was spacious, the bathroom as well. The morning of our departure, the fire alarms went off but that did not detract from the fact that we had slept well, were comfortable and happy that we had booked here.

I would recommend the cofortable room, good breakfast and helpful staff. I would have rated higher were it not for the fact that we stayed in the peak of the heatwave (not their fault!) and with no air conditioning the heat aggravated my health problems and led to early checkout. The helpful staff arranged a refund for the other nights

I stayed as part of a solo cycle tour and it was a gem of a find. Lovely out of town location , surrounded by fields and farming, VERY spacious room with great facilities and topped off with unique artwork(both in the room and throughout the house)
Breakfast was a definite plus with freshly home baked warm croissant to start , followed by a great selection of cereals, including home made granola (which was delicious) and cooked options.
As a vegetarian and trying not to overload on carbs I opted for some fresh fruit, toast and jams and again was very impressed with the selection , which was greater than most trendy London cafes.
When I left, Host Christine then gave me a piece of scrumptious home made banana loaf cake to keep me going on my cycle journey.

Raglan has one of the most impressive castles in the UK, but...
Raglan has one of the most impressive castles in the UK, but the little town’s parish Church is also worth a look.
The area generally is excellent for walking: just a little further west around Abergavenny are a number of excellent Hill walks.

The Beaufort has the very best beds we have slept in for many moons!!
So comfortable; deep proper mattresses with good quality bed linen. Towels were also good quality, clean, mark free and thick.

Hotel staff were very welcoming, both on arrival and the following morning at breakfast which was lovely with a beautiful view of the local church across the road. My room was cosy but the bed was comfortable and the provided tea/coffee box had plenty selection. The hotel is situated in a lovely village with a tesco express a few yards away if you need any essentials. Would stay again.

Character and location. Close to the start of the Brecon Beacons and down the road from the impressive Raglan Castle ruin. A few kms down a quiet country lane but close enough to town and connections. Host was very accommodating. Traditional cottage with huge stone fireplace and lots of character.

We absolutely loved the 'feel' of the house and garden. A great creative hum and the antidote to sterile, plastic hotels! Wonderful welcoming host who laid out good healthy breakfast. The garden was wonderful.
