Everything was perfect. Very dog friendly. The owner Magel and the manager Charlotte are lovely people. This is a beautiful pub. No loud Music or football matches blaring from the TV. Our room was very pretty with a lovely view to the church. Now we've found this little gem we will definitely be staying again.

We stayed on the ground floor in what seems to be a new addition to the building. The room was spacious, the bathroom as well. The morning of our departure, the fire alarms went off but that did not detract from the fact that we had slept well, were comfortable and happy that we had booked here.

Lovely relaxed place, great friendly staff and everything was arranged including dinner booking when we arrived. Food was just what was needed and great value, beer was just right as well in front of the fire after dinner, proper breakfast in the morning.

Raglan has one of the most impressive castles in the UK, but...

Raglan has one of the most impressive castles in the UK, but the little town’s parish Church is also worth a look. The area generally is excellent for walking: just a little further west around Abergavenny are a number of excellent Hill walks.

Ooops, forgot to say in my previous review which is worth a read before this one... The Beaufort has the very best beds we have slept in for many moons!! So comfortable; deep proper mattresses with good quality bed linen. Towels were also good quality, clean, mark free and thick.

The Beaufort, Raglan is in a lovely village. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff very helpful. Plenty of parking was available too. Even hough there was no food served in the evening on Sundays the staff were very kind in warming up shop bought food in their microwave. A top notch service. Breakfast was a high standard too.

We had a very good dinner in the Raglan Hotel and the breakfast was also very good. Parking outside the door was safe and very accessible. A One night stop off in Raglan Hotel on the way to Cornwall was ideal, in a beautiful quiet location. And value for money. Visited Raglan Castle before we headed off and enjoyed that too

Character and location. Close to the start of the Brecon Beacons and down the road from the impressive Raglan Castle ruin. A few kms down a quiet country lane but close enough to town and connections. Host was very accommodating. Traditional cottage with huge stone fireplace and lots of character.

A truly unique and beautiful property full of character and charm. Very peaceful location with lovely gardens and dark skies. Very short drive to Raglan and not far from Monmouth so was a good base for our holiday travels in the area.

We absolutely loved the 'feel' of the house and garden. A great creative hum and the antidote to sterile, plastic hotels! Wonderful welcoming host who laid out good healthy breakfast. The garden was wonderful.
