IcelandThere wasn't much not to like, maybe the view over looking the main road but there is nothing anyone can do about that. Also I requested that room because it had a bath and boy what a room it was, it was even better than the picture show it to be it was more than perfect. It certainly made are night's stay even more memorable. We had gotten engaged earlier in the day. And the hotel didn't disappoint amazing staff throughout our stay and even before the say they had arranged to have flowers in the room upon arrival.it was perfect. Thank you

MaltaWe had a chat with staff who were so polite and informative about the location, the room was exceptional having a lovely au suite which was very clean, in all the room was very comfortable, The food was so delicious plenty on the menu to choose from, I had the steak cooked to my preference and it was to die for. meeting all our expectations .We could not fault The Woolly Sheep at all. It was Great value for money a huge Thankyou we will be seeing you again . And No you don't need to appear on 3 in a bed , it does so well on it's own ! Well worth the drive from Liverpool x

United KingdomThe property is beautiful, comfortable and clean.we had everything we needed and the hosts are nearby if needed. The location is perfect and there are lots of walks. We took our dog and although it states to keep her off the furniture if possible we were provided with throws to cover the bed and sofa as she is used to sleeping at the bottom of the bed. There is a very pleasant walk to Skipton, through fields and along the canal. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.We will definitely return.

The hotel staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent in the bar and the restaurant. Drink prices were average and the beds were comfortable. Would definitely come back to stay again.

Nice little town lots of good shops, and market 3 times a week, lots to do, Castle and other attractions close by, Lovely Canal, boats for hire and trips to be had, Very busy place so getting a parking space in town wasn't easy. Close to Ilkley and Otley and The Yorkshire Dales, so great base to tour round... Good Places to Eat were a bit hard to find,.

We liked the steam train with breakfast it was like going...
We liked the steam train with breakfast it was like going back in time , also having a walk round the quirky shops and having coffee and cake in a little cafe we will definitely come here again , and bring our daughter maybe next time , it can be a little hilly in parts of the town centre, but that didn't put us off .

We had a lovely stay at the Coachhouse in Skipton - excellent accomodation and Skipton was lovely - we walked around the town and called in a few bars and then down the canal which was very picturesque

Skipton is a busy market town, with a reasonable range of shops and some lovely places to eat and drink. We walked from Gargrave to Skipton along the canal which was a beautiful walk and a lovely way to enter the town. By car it can be a bit congested in peak season.

The canal basin makes a great focal point and the number and variety of pubs means you will never have to go far to find one that suits your budget and tastes. Lots of local cafes and regular markets too.

Excellent room, quiet, clean, with excellent walk in shower/ wet room. TV and wifi very good. Ist & 2nd floor served by an idiosyncratic lift. which was fine for us as my wife is not too good with stairs. Breakfast was excellent, very good choice of cooked or cereals etc. We dined in the hotel one evening, very good meal. Hotel is opposite Skipton station, which is handy for a trip on the Settle - Carlisle Railway

Everything. Perfect place to stay. The rooms are clean. The bedding is really comfortable. All recently refurbished. We feel very comfortable.
The pub/hotel manager is very attentive. Smiling staff.
Also very well located. this is the ideal place.
Ps: We recommend the Sunday roast

Lovely cottage very friendly welcome from the owner. Happy to help with any queries. Great location and plenty of information available regarding place to go during your visit to Skipton were to eat generally a very lovely and comfortable place to stay.

The location, a lovely half hour walk along the canal into Skipton. The room was large and spacious, staff friendly. Lounge was comfortable and relaxing for a drink. Breakfast was very nice. Great value for money. Will definitely use the hotel again

The boat was fabulous. The area around, steps away from the town, restaurants and some great independent shops. We found staying here was 100% better than a hotel. I know if in Skipton again, this is the place I would want to stay.
