Everything you would need during your stay close to hand - local shop next door, takeaways if you didn’t fancy using the very nice kitchen or outdoor cooking area at the cottage, my son even got his hair cut in a very trendy barber shop during our stay. Easy drive to lots of places of interest and a very quiet and pretty village.

Really enjoyed weekend spa break for our anniversary wish we had booked longer. The staff at hotel were very helpful and friendly and the Spa and Food was excellent. Will definitely be returning for a longer stay.

Check in staff chaotic check out not good the room was clean and very relaxed and had a good night sleep breakfast was amazing with carol keeping a smooth relaxed experience spa was really good and food was good but not amazing

Due to limited dining choices at the Hotel, we walked into village. Very nice little village. We ate at the Fox and Coney and food was very good. Very busy place so I would recommend booking beforehand. There were 2 other pubs, 1 serving food.

The bed was too small and uncomfortable the amount of money the hotel makes they should surely be able to invest some in the rooms. Room was so hot and stuffy neither me or my wife slept hence we only stayed one night. The rooms need an air con unit and comfy beds. We are going to stick with premier inn in future. A good night's sleep is the most important thing. When we told them we was going to check out we was told we was going to be refunded £88.00 however 15 minutes later we were informed by the lady at reception her manager said we could only be refunded £48.00

We stayed here on the first night of walking the Yorkshire Wolds Way. The staff were very welcoming, the rooms were smart and clean, and the food was superb! It's worth reserving a table in the restaurant in advance, because it's so popular that even on a Tuesday it was full til 20.00.
