Our room was spacious, had lovely tartan curtains and cushions, a view and a great bathroom. Fiona was a welcoming host, with good information about the area. Would thoroughly recommend.

Wonderful interior which had great character. It was worth staying to experience this. Not worth eating there though. The owners really need to up their game here and deliver quality food options and not live off their past otherwise it will end up closing.

The hotel looks nice outside nice gardens. Down stairs was ok but tired. Room was horrible and not clean should not have been used! Toilet dirty, toilet roll just placed on top, taps broken no shower or not even a shower head! This room should not have been used and the would not move me

Good location for us as we drove the NC500 every day. We dined in next town most nights at dingwall Very walkable pleasant village and very clean. Entertainment was good but geared to older guests. Nice little shop and cafe below hotel open to 8pm. A safe village.

The old museum for childhood and the station cafe was very good. Very limited for drinking or eating. Bad experience at the Deli in the Square officious manageress failed to ask appropriate questions to retain our favour and lost it completely

Well if you like watching traffic lights change this is the place for you. There is nothing to do except eat and drink, however the village/town has a very nice fountain in the square and the toilet block is very clean impressed. The Eagle stone was the most interesting artifact in town being hundreds of years old. The Spa Pavillion was closed as were the small number of shops. Such a shame that some of the hotels were closed, it seems Stathpeffer is a base for touring and has not reinvented itself after being a spa town needs a person with vision to bring it into the 21st century.

There is a great little cafe/restaurant in the Square called Deli in the Square, we got breakfast there a couple of mornings. Beautiful little village with some fabulous walks. A great base to see the West Highlands while staying close to Inverness. I can also recommend the Red Poppy restaurant

From $120 per nightWe had a very comfortable stay at Holly Lodge, set in the heart of lovely Strathpeffer. We had a beautiful room with a large en-suite. Breakfast was very nice, with lots of homegrown fruits and delicious honey from their own bees. We would definitely recommend a stay here.
