Was the perfect spot for a weekend in Ayr. The rooms aren't anything fancy but was thoroughly impressed! Everything was nice and clean, stellar location, and great pub downstairs!!

Hotel is in the centre of the town. The rooms are very well decorated and have everything you would need. The restaurant and bar downstairs is very nice indeed. Had a meal and the food was wonderful with an excellent choice of food. Staff all very nice.

Seaview Suite # 202 "Tom Watson Suite" was classic. Beautiful sitting room with a perfect view of the iconic Royal Troon Golf Course and the sea. Very comfortable sectional sofa and a well stocked tea coffee biscuit type set up. The bedroom was also very comfortable, the bed was excellent, in room safe and several USB charging ports in addition to electrical outlets. Bathroom was nice buy a bit small, sink, toilet and walk in shower. Great towels and facecloths toiletries were good but a bit small in quantity for two guests. Breakfast was excellent, made to order plus a continental style buffet. Once again an incredible view from the Rabbit Restaurant while you have your morning coffee.

Fabulous from the moment we arrived excellent free parking to the reception greeting. Super professional and shown to our room something many hotels lack these days except abroad. Our room was superb spacious and beautifully decorated with attention to detailing especially the bathroom design choices we'd have choosen for our building projects. We were made to feel super welcome and the staff very attentive. The public areas again beautifully furnished and recently completed in February we were told. Our buffet breakfast for starters a good selection of cereals, natural yogurt with berry compote, fruits, juices and bread. We are offered a cooked breakfast of our choice to create. Definitely look forward to staying here again to get to the Arran ferry a few minutes drive away. Dogs are super welcome in some rooms.

Staff all excellent - every single one

The outstanding views made me really homesick, absolutely stunning views of Arran, Ailsa Craig and the Ayrshire coast. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room and bathroom were very spacious. Staff were very professional and friendly. The breakfast is to die for. As a Scot who lives abroad to be able to come to a hotel with such a breakfast choice where I can build my own with the breakfast items I love and miss is a real treat. Thank you

Friendly, welcoming staff. Spotlessly clean room (and throughout premises). Spacious accommodation. Attention to detail and tasteful decor. Food in the Canny Crow was delicious.

The room was massive! And amazing value for money. The view was nice over the sea and the bed was super comfortable. Dinner was probably the best we had on our entire roadtrip around the UK. It was well cooked, well served and well priced. 10/10
