My son and I were doing a tour of western Scotland and came across this place as it is very close to Culzean Castle (fantastic). Space was small but had everything we were looking for and more. The proprietor, George, was very friendly and seemed proud of his property. We got there a little late and were hungry so he made reservations for us at a great restaurant (possibly best food we had in Scotland). Would definitely recommend Whitestone for those looking for a base of operation.
Located on the scenic Ayrshire coastline, Turnberry Apartments are only 5 minutes' walk from the beautiful beach and only 10 minutes’ walk from the championship Ailsa Golf Course.

B&B has 4 rooms so a group of 4 twosomes could stay at same place or a family if they don’t mind separate bedrooms. My room came with a private bath. Hosts were friendly and helpful.

The hotel is spotless. We were treated like royalty, the staff were first class. The staff on the door could not do enough for you in particular Stuart both of them and Gary made you feel very welcome.
Spa facilities were excellent.
The room was top class the only negative was the shower was cold.
Highly recommend as a great place for a special occasion.

Excellent modern, spacious and well equipped apartment.
Excellent modern, spacious and well equipped apartment. We enjoyed a very relaxing week at Turnberry apartments, with lovely walks around the Trump golf resort, especially the walk to the lighthouse where you can have a coffee and enjoy the views. The staff were very friendly, polite and welcoming when we visited there. We found the local Asda supermarket a few miles away in Girvan to have all the essentials we needed, and Souters Inn at Kirkoswald a few miles north on the A77 has an excellent menu with great food at very reasonable prices, and well worth visiting. Ideal location
for a relaxing getaway break.

We are golfers so Turnberry is the Mecca for golf courses.
We are golfers so Turnberry is the Mecca for golf courses. However it is very expensive to golf there unless you get a deal with the golf club which in itself is very difficult to do without stopping at the hotel and booking through an agency such as Golf Breaks. There is some walking and cycling routes there for people to do if they want.

-I stayed here with my partner and my dog, the hotel exceeded my expectations and we had a great time.
-The staff could not have been anymore accommodating, especially the service provided towards my dog - special shout out to Liz the concierge
-The room was comfortable, spacious (especially with a dog and crate) and very clean
-The location and views are great
-I had both the fully cooked and continental breakfast, however I have had better. Continental selection was poor
-We only realised after we booked that the leisure facilities were being refurbished albeit an alternative provided, this isn't quite the same experience.
-Other than this, the hotel was fantastic, would definitely return in the future and would recommend.
Clean, spacious and looked exactly like it does in the photographs.
Only a few minutes away from Trump Turnberry Hotel and the clubhouse.
Great communication with the property manager and service from the property manager.
Beautiful, spacious apartment located within walking distance of Turnberry and the coast. It’s really well equipped, was lovely to have milk (incl. oatly, a nice touch!). Communication was excellent.
