The countryside and surrounding Northamptonshire villages are beautiful , but in an understated English way.....no mountains or spectacular geographical features , but it's an area with small fields ,mainly sheep rearing ,with some arable land . Towcester is quite closeby , as is Brackley and Daventry .If you like canals ,the Grand Union passes Bugbrook a few miles from Wappenham .
There is very little there, as it is a very quiet village about 15 minutes drive from the A43 and the Silverstone circuit. Either the Crown at Weston or the Kings Head in Syresham are the nearest restaurants and both are Inns. Towcester is the nearest large town for those who want a little more variety.
An enjoyable and restful one night retreat, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Endearing hosts who go above and beyond to make sure that your stay is an enjoyable one. Rolling countryside views.
