The cottage was secluded but nevertheless only a few minutes drive to Warrenpoint. It was very peaceful. The cottage is very spacious with an unusually well equipped kitchen with plenty of crockery and cutlery. There's a park for children close by.

Bronagh is a warm, generous, and accommodating host who makes you feel very welcome in her home. The room is of a decent, comfortable size with everything that you need. Sharing a bathroom was extremely straightforward, and no issues arose regarding this at all. I thoroughly enjoyed the five nights I had, and the presence of the friendliest dog ever only enhanced this! I would highly recommend.

Lovely area, gateway to The Mournes, easy trip to Carlingford for lunch. Busy that weekend due to Kilbroney Show, tailbacks on wee narrow roads. We ate in The Whistledown hotel and also The Rostrevor Inn. Great food in both

Friendly place. Proper community with working port. Waterfront is being worked on so weren't able to enjoy this at the moment. Nice restaurants and coffee shops. Ate at Diamonds which is highly recommended. Plentiful, gorgeous food - mixed offering.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time in Warrenpoint and totally recommend the Diamond Restaurant for gorgeous food. We stayed in the Lough n Quay, a brilliant accommodation 10 out of 10. Adele was the most friendliest asset to the hotel, a great help and a really lovely girl.

The size of the hotel was just right, not too big so had more of a personal touch from staff, especially Bernie cheerful lady who did a great breakfast for us, also Edele very helpful all the staff were but didn't get all their names. No negatives about the hotel at all.

Warrenpoint is close enough to the Mourne Mountains for those wishing to climb the smaller peaks to gain access but also being beside Carlingford Lough, it can provide a pleasant evening stroll, with fresh maritime air and interesting scenery. There are several coffee shops and takeaways in the town for eating and a hotel and a couple of restaurants for a sit down meal. However, I'm not sure about booking. The town is small enough to walk around and a fairly regular bus service to Newry or to Rostrevor and Kilkeel. The Synge and Byrne cafe in KIlbroney Park, outside Rostrevor, will provide you with a cooked breakfast or great scenery for a coffee after a hard day's walking.

Ann-Marie’s apartment was very central to Warrenpoint with wonderful views of the water and across to Omeath on the other side of the Lough. It is definitely the nicest property we have stayed in. My Mother would have described it as “ Having everything that opens and shuts!”. Very high praise indeed. Extremely comfortable. Everyone that we met in Warrenpoint was so friendly which made us feel very much at home. The nearby park is beautifully kept with no rewilding. Just gorgeous.

The house was spacious, comfortable, warm, and clean, and the location was so peaceful. Lovely wheaten bread, butter, and cookies in a welcome basket. There were sticks and logs for the fire, but the cottage was so cosy with the underfloor heating that we didn't need to light the fire. The cottage was in easy reach of warrenpoint, Rostrevor and Newry. Would definitely book again!

Catherine was the perfect host. Great communication prior to our arrival and she met us when we arrived at the property and went through all the key items that we needed to know. She even left some treats for us. Couldn't recommend it enough and would not hesitate to return should we find ourselves in Warrenpoint again.
