The host were extremely welcoming and kind. They welcomed me into their house and family with open arms. The couple speaks Georgian and Russian, but their children are just a call/text away to assist in English. The village was conveniently located as it was the halfway point on my journey to Mestia. There was WiFi which worked alright. It was a nice place to disconnect and catch up on sleep.

Very nice property with excellent food ( we were even made a small dinner because the host could tell we were very hungry—so accommodating!). Room was large and bed was comfortable. Host arranged a Jeep to kickstart our hike to tobavarchkilli lake, which was very helpful logistically albeit more expensive than hitchhiking.

The couple who runs the place are simply brilliant. Very friendly people, easygoing and and helpful in every way. The whole place literally oozes the atmosphere of the old times. The rooms are spacious, there is also a big terrace where you can sit and chill. We were offered a traditional Georgian breakfast, which was delicious. All in all, a great experience!
