The rooms are cozy, exceptionally clean and offer a great view of the mountain. The Hotel is around 750m from the start of the TCT leading up to Utviri pass - a great choice for Hiker. The owner is very helpful and welcomed us a second time, after we had to retreat from the mountain after a thunderstorm. Though it was still morning we could enter the room immediately and could even wash our laundry in their washing machine. She also helped us to organize a transfer to our next destination. And last but not least: The food (breakfast, lunch, dinner if needed) was also great. Clear recommendation!

Everything was amazing. The breathtaking views, the cozy cottage, and especially the warm and welcoming host. It is the perfect place to spend quality time with friends and explore the incredible nature of Svaneti. Horse-riding tours were also available, which made our stay even more memorable. The price was surprisingly affordable compared to the wonderful experience we had. I would definitely recommend Wooden Cottage Svaneti!

Everything about this place feels special — the mystical views, the calm atmosphere, and the vintage interiors. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was Mariam. She’s not only a great host, but also a wonderful storyteller. You’ll leave with warm memories and a deeper appreciation of Svaneti

A beautiful spot to stay in the woods, with opportunities for short walks. The young owner cooked us a delicious fresh meal and prepared breakfast; he was very friendly. There is a comfortable bedroom upstairs, while the toilet and bathroom are downstairs. To reach the accommodation, you park by the roadside, climb down, cross the river via the bridge, and then climb back up—a strenuous route, so bring only a small backpack. Alternatively, drive a bit further by car, turn right (driving from the south) at the electricity pylon marked with a white cross, and cross the river via the vehicle bridge; keep to the right along the path. A 4x4 vehicle is required.
