Truly Beautiful and Unique experience. Can’t even begin to convey how much we enjoyed this hotel. The service was quick and impeccable. Entire place is sparkly clean. The room was beautiful, ac was cold, Wi-Fi was fast, had a great balcony, had a cold refrigerator, bed was comfortable. The restaurant was absolutely next level good! Can’t even begin to explain how good the strawberry ice cream was…clearly it was the best I have had in my life. Pool is beautifully nestled below in a gorgeous little green area that is completely well manicured.
Offering a subtropical garden and a swimming pool, Bristol Hotel is located just a 2-minute walk to the main street in Gibraltar. The Rock of Gibraltar is just 1.9 mi away.

You need to go to experience it yourself. The history on the peninsular is interesting, it feels very safe and all the Brits are very friendly. It is an unusual feeling, typical Spanish coastal location full of Brits (obviously), full English Breakfasts, fish and chips, and Karaoke galore (lots of bars for 30,000 locals). Lacks a bit of culture and isn't very pretty, lots of new money and development. The history and how the Brits kept their presence is fascinating with the views to Africa and the gateway to the med, really bringing home its importance as a location. It is quite cheap. Now I've been, I possibly wouldn't return, but found it interesting.

The nature reserve on the rock to see the monkeys was the highlight for us, also the views from the top are amazing. The dolphin tour was also good as we saw lots of dolphins in the bay. Food was good with plenty of choice of places to eat.

The whole Gibraltar experience was fantastic.
The whole Gibraltar experience was fantastic. From witnessing locals crossing the boarder to go to work most on there scooters. Walking across the runway & walking under the runway. Visiting the Gibraltar nature reserve. Cable car is such an amazing experience. Views at the top of the rock amazing.... Walking to sandy Bay beach such a lovely walk & a lovely beach. Europa point lighthouse was well worth a visit. Plenty of space to wander around at your leisure & also a great little cafe always useful on hot days. Main street worth a wander down fantastic variety of shops & places to drink/eat.

We enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed our stay. We went up the cable car to see the monkeys, did the dolphin safari boat trip.(that was lovely to watch)
Ocean Village near the city centre was fantastic, sitting with a drink next to the marina. Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from.
Market place/casemates Square is nice to walk around along the main street to do any shopping. The bus terminus is also there.

We love Gibraltar.
We love Gibraltar. It's very English, yet Spanish and generally very clean, safe and friendly. (Apart from some Spanish people). We love the history, the views, the walks and the restaurants. There are plenty of interesting places to visit, nice beaches - particularly Sandy Bay where we learned to paddle board, just! The dolphin trip (blue boat)was great, as was a day on a Jolly Parrot yacht.
We loved to eat at Monique's - great food and super friendly staff. We enjoyed the wartime tunnels and loved all the caves, particularly St Michael's.
We would recommend NOT bothering with Goreham's cave museum, you get a 30min powerpoint presentation, no cave access except when booked months in advance on a special tour. The city museum is excellent however.
The buses (when not on strike) will take you around the city. Avoid taxis - they are only interested in filling up with 15 passengers to go up the Rock, they are very unreliable. Luckily most things can be walked to including the airport and Spain.
A fabulous 5 star apartment with a fantastic view of the Rock! Very clean, good high tech facilities, fridge-freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Great shower and WC facilities too, a great smooth lift and access to the Spa next door if needed - a great addition as there are a lot of steep climbs in Gibraltar! Callum is young, friendly and efficient! Overall a great and memorable stay!
I travelled solo for my 60th birthday and had an absolute wonderful time. Gibraltar is stunning, a short flight from the UK, and the hotel was so stunning with very accommodating staff
The Bristol is priced competitively compared to other hotels in Central Gibraltar. The staff were nice and helpful. There was a fridge and air conditioning in the room
