Quietly located, just a 5-minute walk from a sandy beach, Rastoni is housed in an old pistachio farm 1969 feet from Aegina Town and its port.
Hotel review's and profile on booking looked very promising when we were making the reservation BUT the reality exceeded our expectations! We would totally go back if we're ever on the island, we had the most wonderful time at Rastoni. It's a small paradise and its staff is working really hard to make their guest feel welcome and as comfortable as possible. What a gem! The beach is super close, as is the port, there's a variety of great places to go out to eat, but most of all the hotel terrace (what a precious sea view!) and the garden are amazing!

Hotel Danae is situated on the coastal road of Aegina near the Temple of Apollo, about half a mile from the center of town. It has 54 rooms all with private balcony and most with a sea view.

Hotel Areti is located in Aegina Town, just 984 feet from the sandy beach of Avra and within 2297 feet from the port.
A small but adequately managed hotel. Nice staff (reasonable English communication). Amazing sea view from our room, great location of the hotel, many restaurants and a nice beach nearby, close to public transportation, buses, small boats, taxis, that take you all over the island at a reasonable price. Excellent wifi (internet) service, good size room, air condition and tv that work. Great value overall.

Urlika Hotel is just 165 ft from the beach, close to the port and the center of Aegina. It offers spacious rooms with king beds and private balconies, many with sea views.
The sea, the island, the orthodox monasteries, the overall port life and pistachio enjoyed on the balcony of Ulrika Hotel. Separated from the night life in the port makes it good for a family with children. Clean and organized room. We used intensively the fridge and the shower having hot water all the day. Great hosts, father & sons, helped us with everything (baggage, cheapest car rent, where to best eat/buy local products, tips & tricks).

The Klonos Hotel is located on the beautiful island of Aegina, just a short distance from Aegina and only a few yards from the sea.
Considering the current COVID-19 situation I’m sure the hotel would have been totally booked, but although there were only a few guests I did not feel that the standards were lower. Super friendly staff, enourmous room with sea view. I’m sure the hotel is a charm with full capacity. Outstanding pool area! I definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel Marmarinos is quietly located 328 feet from the beach of Aigina Town and within a 3-minute walk from the port. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, balcony and views.
I have never felt inclined to leave a review before but the owner of this hotel was an absolute delight. He did everything to make sure our stay was amazing. He even made every effort to return some left behind car keys after we had already returned back to Athens. The rooms were clean and the water pressure was perfect in the showers which was surprising for a small Greek island. I honestly cannot praise this hotel enough. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back next year.

These hotels in Egina are highly rated by couples: Rastoni Hotel Aegina, Plaza, and Ulrika.
Danae Hotel, Ulrika, and Rastoni Hotel Aegina got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Egina.
A higgledy piggledy jumble of small streets with both traditional and modern shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Plenty of scope to wander, too small to get lost in. Pistachios for sale everywhere: ultimately I chose to get mine from Mourtzis at P. Irioti 57, and am very happy I did. Eating: for simple, reasonably priced, fresh and delicious Greek food, and excellent, friendly service I would recommend O ΤΣΙΑΣ (Tsias) along the waterfront. Don't miss the Archeological Museum - it's absolutely fascinating.
It Has easy access from Athens with regular ferries. A variety of little bays and restaurants. Generally peacefull and relaxed environment. Felt very safe at all times as a solo traveller. There are options to go to other islands from there for day / afternoon trips. The Island itself is lush and green due to pistachio trees and the sea is stunning. Monuments and churches to visit as well. Mostly rocky beaches.
Nice small island very close to Athens with interesting history, restaurants with local food, coffee shops, tourist shops etc. You can rent a car or motorbike and tour the island. However, this is neither a cosmopolitan island (like, say, Mykonos' nightlife) nor an island with advanced facilities (like, say, Crete or Rhode).
The center of Egina town is nice with many shops, restaurants, and a nice beach. We had a very nice dinner at Tsias Restaurant. We stayed for two days which was enough to explore all the attractions of the island. We rented a car so it was much easier for me and my family to explore the island. Nice places to visit are Ayios Nektarios Monastery, Afaia temple, Perdika beach (rocky beach, crystal clear), and the city center.
The property is in Marathonas which is only a short drive from Aegina town. Marathonas is wonderful for a relaxing beach holiday with a wide range of beach bars and tavernas. It is only a short drive from the hustle and bustle of Aegina town where you will find a range of boutique shops, tavernas, cafes all within the area of the local harbour.
Busying, but not too much so, as local colour. Plenty of restaurants and shops with a nice mix. Some buses to other locations on the Island and of course taxis or the ferries. A good vibe. Totally recommend Tortuga for both drinks and great food.
We loved everything about this beautiful and well equipped apartment in a quiet part of the town. It was convenient to be so very close to the port and the bus stop and we enjoyed swimming at the local beach at the end of each day. The linen and towels and toiletries was of good quality and it was nice to have a Nespresso machine. Our hosts were friendly and attentive and made an effort to make our stay memorable. If we should visit Aegina again GDK House would be our first choice for accommodation.
Egina
Beautiful guesthouse in the centre of aegina town located a short walking distance from the restaurants and bars as well as the beach and archaeological site of colonna. I stayed here for two nights in januari and I had a wonderful stay. The room is quite spacious and has an authentic touch to it. Also, the breakfast was really nice with lots of homemade cake by the host :) All in all, I would definitely recommend this place either to couples or solo travelers!
Egina
This apartment is an exceptional find. Perfect location short stroll to everything - bustling town, beach and port. Fabulous refurbishment, beautifully done with modern amenities and all that is needed for a really comfortable stay. Being able to easily wash and dry laundry is an added bonus when travelling. Host was wonderful - recommendations and suggestions all gratefully received. Cannot recommend it all highly enough, you are lucky if you get to stay here!
Breakfast was excellent ! The freshly cooked omelette and the fresh fruit tarts were delicious .Dagmar was so attentive helpful and with a great sense of humour . Waking up each morning eating breakfast in this beautiful garden oasis was amazing . The rooms were great and location of the hotel was perfect for Aegina town too . Thoroughly recommend it and we’ll be back !!
Loved my stay here! Giannis and Erik and their dad were all amazing and gave great recommendations about things to do in the area. We even received a free balcony upgrade! The property was very close to the beach, the port, and the town center/restaurants. Would definitely recommend.
The hotel is close enough to the town, a 10 minute walk, you can walk this along the beach area. The staff are super friendly, there is no lift in the hotel but they are more than willing to help take the luggage up and down. Was a nice room with a little balcony.
Clean and very cute rooms, a really nice pool area and greatly located to take a walk down to the harbor to have breakfast, lunch, dinner or discover more activities to do on the island. Staff is super helpful and you really get value for the money spent.
Egina
The villa was lovely with a great outdoor area in a really peaceful neighbourhood. It was a bit of a walk into town but we managed walking in and out most days. The welcome was lovely and the owner was very helpful and responsive. A great find!
The location was very convenient, in a walking distance from the port. The apartment was very thoroughly cleaned, fully equipped and quite spacious for 8 people. Christina is a nice host, helpful and responsive to our needs.
Fabulous hotel, staff and facilities excellent. Approx 10 minutes walk into Aegina Town. Pool immaculate, very clean, sun loungers so comfortable and plenty of them. Highly recommended, will definately return.
Wonderful location, steps away from a small but lovely beach and only a few minutes walk from the port and town. The owners are extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. A really great experience overall.
everything was great, great host, perfectly speaking English, polite, and gave us many suggestions on the island. The house is fully furnished, nothing to say.
