First time visiting was such an enjoyable experience. No restaurant at the hotel, but located within a few steps of several traditional Greek tavernas located around the square. Lively in the evening with local families using the square as a central meeting place. The atmosphere created by the family running the hotel is very friendly and they could not have been more helpful, when asked to make a couple of small repairs. The rooms are not the most modern but have charm and character. As a base from which to explore this part of the Mani region it was second to none. Breakfast is very good.

Beautiful setting, lovely pool, very pretty gardens, comfortable and quaint rooms, great views and fantastic breakfast. Also, could order dinner at the property, food was amazing, very good value and choice of indoor or outdoor to eat. Staff were friendly and looked after us so well. Would definitely recommend.

This place is simply magical, the sound of the waves is heard all day, the sea air, the amazing staff. The place was built using the best materials and equipment and above all the stuff that takes care of this house, magical people with a big heart. We even used the kayak for a short cruise in front of the house, waiting to come again. !Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had a fabulous time staying at Castle Rizaraki. The location perched up on the hill offers an incredible, uninterrupted view of the ocean. Our room featured beautiful traditional stone walls and furnishings, and having a private balcony to look at the sea was wonderful. Every morning started perfectly with a good, fresh breakfast enjoyed outside on the terrace. It felt like stepping into a fairytale. We would definitely return!
