Central location, easy to find a parking nearby. Lots of nice cafeterias, restaurants, taverns, and pastry shops nearby, all within approx. 5 min walk distance. The room was cozy, comfy, the decoration was cute. Breakfast was included in price, and was very good. Overall, a VFM choice, highly recommended.

Vasilis hotel is truly delightful, offering stunning views of Nafplio and its fortress. Our room was spacious, featuring two big beds. The air conditioning kept the room perfectly warm, making it cozy even during the rainy December days. Everything was newly renovated and spotless, including a generous bathroom. We found all the comforts we needed right there. Plus, the city center of Nafplio is just a short 5-drive away. The hotel owner was incredibly welcoming! We had a fantastic stay at this charming hotel. Highly recommending.

We drove from Olympia through Sparta to Kinsterna Hotel. After driving through what might say a little bit run down villages it was unbelievable experience to arrive at this oasis. Everything was so beautiful, the food and staff impeccable! We stayed for 2 nights and took an took a hike in the island of Monemvasia, which is like another world. The only tiny thing which i thing I did not like was the English pop-music played in the restaurant. I would have preferred some Greek or instrumental music, but that is probable just me 😊

- The detail that makes the difference compared to other hotels in Kalamata is that there is no road that seperates the beach and the hotel. This was really convenient since we had our 8months old kid with us. - It is newly renovated. - Mr. Antonis who is working there for more than 10 years, and the rest of the team have been very kind and helpful. - We did not get charged for baby’s food.

A beautiful location with all amenities on site. Comfortable bed and great shower. Lovely view over pool and ocean. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. The small village is about a 15 minute walk and worth a visit - we had very nice pizza and wine while there. We would have been happy to spend a few more days there, but were on our way to meet friends in Athens so only had one night

We loved our room which had a balcony with view over the sea. Also the breakfast was wonderful, with lots of different items, both sweet and savoury, nicely presented on a large wooden board being served to your table. It is also amazing to have the breakfast on the terrace right next to the sea with the waves literally smashing against the wall just next to your table.

Nafplio has definitely exceeded my expectations!

Nafplio has definitely exceeded my expectations! Though it was my first trip to Greece I have enjoyed it a lot. This town is truly a beautiful pearl with such wonderful atmosphere. It is on the coast, has beaches, has higher ground and even mountains around it, what else can you ask for? We have gone along the coast, been to Syntagma Square, seen some city center and were even on the top of the Palamidi Castle. Make sure to visit Mycenae and Epidaurus as well. I will definitely come back here in the future!

Kalamata is a local hub in a rich, fertile, agricultural area. Our group of 4 ranged from 27 to 57 years old and found Kalamata was a great place to catch our breath and relax, surrounded by beautiful restaurants, bars and walks. Nearby towns boast magnificent castles, seaside views and azure blue waters. Not too far from Mount Olympia, Spartica and car hire was easy. Driving was easy as the roads are not busy in April and the main roads are exceptional, thanks to investment in infrastructure by the EU. Local drivers are patient and everyone drives slowly and cautiously around busy parts of town. I enjoyed the best Pizza I've ever eaten on the bayside walk. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here and I was truly sad to leave.

The island is absolutely beautiful and truly picture-perfect. The charming harbor, elegant architecture, and stunning scenery make it a wonderful place to visit. However, one aspect of our experience was disappointing. Although the island is often described as car-free, there are a large number of motorbikes, mopeds, and scooters everywhere. The constant traffic noise can detract from the peaceful atmosphere, even when enjoying a morning coffee at one of the beautiful cafés by the port. We visited in May, which is considered off season, yet the roads already felt quite busy. At times, walking around was uncomfortable because some riders seemed to drive fast and without much regard for pedestrians. Given our experience during a relatively quiet period, it's hard to imagine how crowded and hectic the island must feel during the peak summer months. Despite this drawback, the island's beauty is undeniable. Visitors looking for a tranquil, traffic-free destination should simply be aware that the reality may be different from what they expect.

Patra is a town full of University students that makes it a very live, fun town. There is a great balance of nightlife, city culture, sea and country experiences available. The Castle on the top of the hill is a must see as is the Roman Odeon. The best was walking down the main strip on a Friday night. The city was alive with people having a fabulous night out. Shopping, cafes and restaurants galore. Make sure you go when the Universities are running as you may have a very different experience.

Porto Heli is a popular holiday region of Greece providing the opportunity to combine the seaside holidays with visits to main archeological sites of Greece, as Epidavros or Mycenes, historical cities as Nafplion and visits to the popular islands of Spenser’s or Hydra. The whole region has nice beaches and good restaurants. The only negative comment is the rather not well maintained road network which clearly needs repairs.
