Fabulous location with breathtaking views. The rooms have everything you need for your stay - simple and clean. The breakfast is wonderful as you look out in the beautiful water below. The sun loungers are an added bonus. Staff were wonderful. Would definitely return.

The hotel was a walking distance to the cafes,shops and restaurants. Our room had a balcony and was right at the front so you could see the whole town. Buffet breakfast, with a very good selection of sweet and savoury food.Homenade marmelades and jams,greek pies from the local bakery and freshly baked bread. The staff were really friendly and went above and beyond to accomodate us. Hotel parking available which is really good because it would be hard to find parking as the town is small. Very good value for money.

Wonderful small town, no very touristy so you can have a taste of the usual everyday life here. Loved the Voidokilia beach nearby, great small boats for rent at marina to explore the bay. Also would recommend Polymelos waterfall nearby (30-40 min drive) with beautiful blue water

We found Pylos to be touristy but not over-busy.

We found Pylos to be touristy but not over-busy. The place had a pleasant buzz but we could find a restaurant without booking. The castle is worth a look for the views alone, and the town beach, although small, has shade and a shower on an adjacent area, and the water is perfect for swimming.

The central square is adjacent to the harbour and is full of tables for the surrounding restaurants. The town centre is clean and tidy. The castle is extensive and takes several hours to explore. It includes 3 museum buildings.

Beautiful waterfront and a friendly vibe.

Beautiful waterfront and a friendly vibe. Great place to base yourself for day trips in the surrounding area. Pylos is an authentic Greek town, great for walking and people watching. A place that makes you think, “I could live here.” The castle, with its sensational views and nice little museum, is well worth a couple hours. Beaches to the north are outstanding and just a short drive away.

Great location, superb views from everywhere in the town, which has a nice square, great museum of Navarino battle, boat trips around the bay. a wonderful castle and good tavernas ideal for those looking for the real Greece. There is so much within range: Voidokillia beach is a must as is Methoni, both within 20 minutes drive. The Bay golf club is minutes away. A little further are Nestor's palace and the fishing village of Koroni and 90 minutes away is the superb archaeological site of Ancient Messene. Pylos is within in an hour of Kalmata airport

One of the best cities we have visitted in Peloponnese, the main reason being the amazing scenic beaches that are located quite close. The main Pylos square beatiful and it takes you back in time with the tall trees and the vibrant atmosphere. You can rent a boat if you know how to drive one, take organised cruises from Pylos or Gialova and visit Methoni, Foinikounta, and other amazing little cities around. Go there, you will not regret it!

We had a lovely week in Helios house. It has wonderful views from the balconies and you can see the sun set on the horizon from the bedroom balcony. The house was spotless and the sheets were changed mid stay. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. Lovely big and efficient shower. There are 4 houses (all very new) set in an olive grove and it is very peaceful and away from any roads. Short drive to a beautiful beach and not far to Pylos. You definitely need a car. We will definitely go again!

The view was excellent of the harbour and the sea. There is parking right next to the hotel. The location is perfect, right next to the best tavernas and a few moments walk from the main square in one direction and the castle in the other direction. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good without being amazing.
