We loved our room “B2”. It was big with a Privat pool outdoor on the balcony with a view over the city / church , sun with sun beds and indoor steam room. The hotel was super clean. The room was magical! We arrived in the middle of the night and Hina woke up to take our luggage and showed us were we could go to get some food where it was 24h open. We did even get the room much earlier since people before us checked out early. This was the best welcoming experience! The service we got from Hina and Dior was really great! What an excellent service!! Hina booked everything we needed for our stay in Santorini, all from ATV to taxi service and even table reservations at the most romantic places in Oia (different city) and day beds at Forty One (beach club). I would definitely recommend this hotel !! What an amazing experience! Thank you so much!!!

The location and view is outstanding! What an incredible place to wake up each morning. The staff were exceptional. I left my laptop in the room and Evaggelia drove to the airport to drop it off to me! The breakfast platters were beautiful also. Very comfy bed and a shower with a view were also great!

The suite we had was very spacious inside and had a beautiful, large terrace. It was a 15 minute casual walk, mostly uphill, to the centre of Fira. We didn't mind the walk since we enjoyed walking everywhere in Santorini. Our receptionist Vaya was outstanding. She provided us with many suggestions on what to do and where to eat. She was always a joy to talk to.

The room was super clean and view was great with jacuzzi. Everyday at 12pm there's a housekeeping service to clean your room and replenish the towels. Its walking distance to Fira centre. Very quiet location. We came across many cats but specifically black and white cat (we named him Jonny) he would.be waiting for us in front of our room in the evening. We bought some cat food and fed him on the street also. All in all, we really loved this place. Check in was easy and we were given tips on what to do and where to go.

New structure with every comfort, starting from the location right in the center... to Moh, super welcoming, kind and helpful who never let us want for anything throughout our stay (he organised our catamaran tour and transfers). I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very comfortable and pleasant, and the overall service was excellent. A special thank you to Marilena at reception—she was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. She assisted me with many different matters during my stay and always made sure everything was taken care of. Her warm attitude and professionalism made my experience even more enjoyable. Amazing hotel and very nice facilities. The staff is extremely gentle. Margarita and Panos are lovely. Our room was very comfortable with a beautiful terrace. The breakfast is delicious and the pool has a very good atmosphere, it is perfect to relax and read.

A Greek Island Dream

Imagine a typical Greek island with whitewashed houses, blue-domed churches and sloping cliffs, and the chances are that you’re thinking of Santorini. Protectively curving around 4 other islands in its archipelago, this volcanic island has fertile ground bringing forth lovely rosé wine and some of the sweetest cherry tomatoes you’ll ever taste.

High on a caldera shelving into the sea, the capital Fira overlooks the cruise liners plying the turquoise Aegean waters below. North is Imerovigli, home to several 5-star Santorini hotels with fantastic views.

Also providing amazing views is the accommodation in Oia across the bay. Cascading down the slopes, the sea of white here is only dispersed by vibrant pink flowers, blue domes and the brown of ancient windmills, all becoming black silhouettes as the sun sets.

Santorini Airport is on the other side of the island and 2 resorts south of it – Kamari and Perissa – have the best, black sand beaches. However, the most visually impressive is Red Beach at Akrotiri where the stunning red colour of the caldera and sand makes the trek down the rockface well worth it. Just time it right to avoid high tide! Also near Akrotiri are excavations of a Minoan era settlement.

We are leaving after 6 days at the Majestic Hotel. I must tell you about the excellent treatment we received at the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted with chilled cherry juice, the hotel manager Elleny came to introduce herself. The charming Anastasios accompanied us until we settled into the rooms for the weeks we wanted. Spacious and comfortable rooms were arranged for us since there were very elderly and disabled people with us. The treatment was excellent, and always with a smile and willingness to help as best they could. We received everything we asked for, even if it was late. The breakfast is great, there is everything you need and more. The waiters Doretta and Shamir always ask and are interested in whether you need anything else. I have been to many hotels in the world and have never experienced such personal and good treatment. If you can give a score higher than 10, then they definitely deserve it. The lifeguard at the pool, Nikos, is very kind and always asks and is interested in the guests. The girls at the reception Mariam&Sindi are so cheerful and help as best they can. The pool area is very nice as well.

Wonderful place, located in a quieter area than the busy Fira, but still within a walking distance to both Fira center and Imerovigli. Lovely resort, very spacious rooms, with access to a shared swimming pool (or with a private pool, depending on the room, I was lucky to receive an upgrade!). Excellent breakfast, with variety of options to pick from. And the staff - helpful, friendly, always providing best support. I had a great stay and when I'm back in Santorini, for sure I will book this place again!

I stayed at Rocabella Santorini in February 2026 for a business trip, and even though it’s the winter season on Santorini, the team made the experience truly warm and memorable. From Natalie at reception to Savia in housekeeping, everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The little touches were wonderful — a welcome treat waiting in the room and a lovely “afternoon delight” delivered later on. Those gestures really made me feel cared for after long workdays.

Ridiculously scenic island, should be on your bucket list. Expensive. We got a pre-booked taxi from the port, and to the airport on departure - well worthwhile.

Anestis was an amazing host!

Anestis was an amazing host! Even though he was far away, he made sure his guests were well taken care of. The place was incredibly neat, clean, and beautifully maintained, offering breathtaking views of the island, the sea, and, of course, the iconic three blue domes! A peaceful and unforgettable stay. If you're planning to visit Oia, this is definitely the place to be!

Perfect location between two busy towns, Oia and Fira. Very romantic and laid-back, but also not secluded where you didn't have anything nearby. Fira was only a 20 minute walk if you want to walk to more restaurants, shopping, or gelato. And Oia was a 20-30 minute ATV ride.

An absolutely beautiful place, with a sublime view over the Caldera, and wonderful restaurants and shops. Very close and very accessible to, but more peaceful than, bustling Fira. A scenic walk from Oia.

Perissa pleasantly surprised us, especially with its beautiful beach. Considering the island’s volcanic origins, we expected a little less, but it turned out to be quite the opposite – the beach was one of the best experiences we have ever had in Greece. There are also plenty of excellent restaurants in the town, which made Perissa a truly great choice for us.

Very quiet away from the noise in Fira so if you like the quietness like myself then it is highly recommended.Buses are regular in every hour to Fira only for 2.20€ and there are different beaches in the area

A little village, however, it contains everything needed for tourists. It is possible to rent a car, there are mini markets and supermarkets, clothes shop and gym. However, the downtown is not as popular as other villages, where one can go shopping, hang out with friends or go to cafes and restaurants.

Location:

Location: Pyrgos is a hidden gem compared to the bustle of Fira and Oia – much quieter and more authentic, yet with equally stunning views across the island. The village itself is charming, with picturesque alleyways, excellent restaurants, and a beautiful castle crowning the hilltop. Getting around is easy too, with straightforward bus connections to the rest of Santorini. Highly recommended if you prefer a more relaxed atmosphere without missing out on anything. Favourite spots: The castle and the winding alleyways of Pyrgos itself are absolutely worth exploring. For sunset views over the caldera, Alchemia is a must – stunning location, great food, and we went back twice. Kantouni is a lovely traditional taverna, and Kavatza is a charming family-run spot serving excellent souvlaki in pita – we ended up there three times! For a relaxed drink in the village square, Johnnie CF is perfect. Getting around: The village is served by the Fira–Perissa bus line, stopping right at the village square. There's no fixed timetable so you need to be a bit flexible, but it runs regularly and at €2.20 to Fira it's great value. We never had to wait too long. Activities we'd recommend: Don't miss a wine tasting at Santo Wines – a fantastic experience with breathtaking views over the caldera.
