2nd and 3rd property was alright as they made us changed 3 properties during 7 days holiday.
Bed and pillow was very uncomfortable, not hotel grade.
1st was flooded Hot Tub, we had to soak up water from floor after hot tub flooded the room.

This is hands down the best hotel we ever stayed in. Our room was beautiful, private and had an amazing garden with 200° views of the island. People might say the garden wasn't 100% private, but as you are looking towards private car park, those few guests walking by was really miniscule. It's been a month and I still remember that ambience so vividly, it is 1000000% worth staying here. We have been recommending this hotel to everyone we met, and if ever coming back to Santorini, there is no other place we will be staying at. Big thank you to the whole team, we truly felt at peace from the moment we stepped into your oasis.
Pyrgos is also the best location you can hope for. Lots of very good restaurants, beautiful historical buildings, great views, yet it's safe distance from the abnormal (and frankly scary amounts) waves of tourists that arrive daily to Fira and Oia.

- Good location for Pyrgos. Would definitely recommend staying in less-touristy Pyrgos instead of Fira (only 10-15 mins by car).
- Great mountain/sea views
- Clean and quiet
- Amazing pool area
- Hotel’s restaurant open from 8 am to 11 pm (reasonable prices)
- Very friendly and attentive staff and cleaners
- Short walking distance from Rymidi restaurant, which can be recommended for food and atmosphere
- The hotel co-operates with a very nice taxi driver Mike who can take you around the island.

Pirgos is definitely worth a visit for authentic Santorini village. Boasts several great restaurants and shops on the twisting alleys leading to The Castle. Panoramic views across the mountains and out to the sea. Very welcoming locals and a range of accommodation from the most sophisticated Skyfall Suites to the most beautiful welcoming and authentic Olyra Cave Houses. I definitely recommend and will return. The Bakery also offers wonderful Orange Cake and Sourdough Boules along with stunning choice of desserts, cake and ices!

My visit to Pirgos Kallistis in Santorini was nothing short of magical! This charming village, perched on a hill, offers some of the most stunning views on the island. Wandering through the narrow, winding streets felt like stepping back in time, with each turn revealing picturesque houses, quaint cafes, and beautiful churches.
The atmosphere in Pirgos is wonderfully serene, a perfect escape from the busier parts of Santorini. The friendly locals added to the charm, always greeting us with warm smiles and helpful tips about the best spots to explore.
One of the highlights was the incredible panoramic view from the top of the village. We enjoyed breathtaking sunsets that painted the sky in brilliant hues of orange and pink, a sight that will stay with me forever.
The food in Pirgos was fantastic too! We indulged in delicious traditional Greek cuisine at several local tavernas, each meal a delightful experience of fresh, flavorful dishes.
Overall, Pirgos Kallistis is a hidden gem in Santorini. It's perfect for those looking to experience the authentic beauty and tranquility of the island. I can't recommend it enough!

A smaller and quieter town off the beaten track, perfect for those looking to get away from the bustle of Oia or Fira but still have access to shops and restaurants. Beautiful views from the top of the whole west coast of the island, very romantic at night. Walking distance to other towns including Megalochori and also vineyards there. There is a bus service here but as with all buses in Santorini service can be unpredictable, and crowded so best to find another mode of transport if not already staying here!

Pirgos is a lovely village 10 mins from the airport....but you wouldn't know it was that close noise wise.
The village has quite a few restaurants so not short of choice. It also has a mini mart and a bakery and a really good pharmacy should you need one. So really quite the perfect place with all you could want.
There is a bus service so you can get into the main town Fira and from there to other places on the island fairly easily and cheaply.
All in all it a really excellent place to stay

We loved everything we did in Pyrgos.
We loved everything we did in Pyrgos. We were able to walk to the village and the winery. We also were able to rent a car and see the island!
Be open about needing to stop and figure out where you are. We walked 20K steps each day and sometimes backtracked because we don't read the local language. But the moments of looking lost allowed us to connect with other travelers who made great selections.
The trails were wonderful. The sunsets were spectacular. We visited a little off season, so there were no crowds.
I hadn't driven a manual transmission in 30 years, it took a minute to gain my confidence. If you plan to rent a car try to refresh the skills, steep hills is not the place to learn to use a clutch!
One of my favorite memories was an afternoon at Triana tavern. Enjoy!
The concept of this hotel is excellent but sadly the execution falls a little short in some aspects. The room price suggests a '5 star plus' hotel experience but while the hotel staff are wonderfully welcoming, there is a degree of slackness that can't be overlooked. The location is great with a view down to the sea and a view up to Pyrgos. The front desk staff are warm and enthusiastic and always helped out when we needed it. Their recommendations for Caldera yacht cruising and car hire were excellent.
A very beautiful hotel situated on top of a hill, facing east (so you can't see the sunset). It is a 15-minute drive from the airport. The rooms have very good window blinds that provide total darkness. There is a great private pool and a quiet AC system. The staff is very friendly, and free water (1.5L) is provided daily.
The hotel offers free parking on-site with approximately six available spots. Additionally, there is free street parking nearby.
This hotel has opened a couple of months ago and is really gorgeous. The small village of Pyrgos is beautiful and has some really nice restaurants. Close to both the port and the airport.
The rooms are spacious and we had a room with a nice terrace with a private plunge pool, which was amazing. Also the view from the room and the pool was stunning.
I believe the beds are from coco-mat, so sleeping here is no problem and the breakfast was great.
The suite of rooms were very spacious, very clean with attention to detail. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. We were able to give our preferences for a lovely breakfast delivered to our room. The bed was comfortable. The outdoor area around the pool was beautiful. We liked staying in Pyrgos very much, a tranquil haven away from the bustle of tourists in the main town.
Excellent facilities including fantastic shower and hot tub. Very modern and by far the most up-to-date place we were able to find in Santorini, even when taking into account 5-star hotels. We would love to be back.
