Gary and Anastasia were absolutely amazing hosts. They both went far and beyond what was expected....Nothing was ever too much for them. We left like old friends. The view of the apartment is breathtaking. The bed is super comfortable. You will not need anything in the apartment. Close to restaurants and shops. We will definitely be back if ever in Assos. Thank you, Gary and Anastasia, for your kindness and hospitality. It was much appreciated.

Myrtos View Apartments is a real gem in Kefalonia. Beautiful, stylish, well-equipped apartments at the perfect location with its proximity to Myrtos Beach and to paraglider startplace. We spent a lovely 3 nights there enjoying a picturesque panorama and paintings-like sunsets. The hosts were friendly and helpful, assisting us in everything. We can only recommend this place which has become our new favourite accommodation on the island. For sure, we will return in the upcoming years.

Wonderful small village with 3 or 4 bars and restaurants.

Wonderful small village with 3 or 4 bars and restaurants. Very quiet and peaceful in June, mad busy and noisy in July and August ! Be prepared to walk up steps and hills to apartments as some can be far away from the small square where everything is based. Good parking a few hundred metres from centre, cars are not allowed past these car parks to ensure movement and space in the centre and also avoid cars getting stuck on very narrow streets. Few good shops with good holiday clothing options, very nice bakers and a supermarket. Couple of small pebble beaches on your doorstep..all you need for a good relaxed break.

I would say Asos is the most beautiful little bay on...

I would say Asos is the most beautiful little bay on Kefalonia. We have been returning to Kefalonia for 25 years. We wouldn’t dream of not paying g a return visit each time we visit. It captures your heart it is so beautiful and calm. It is my perfect place to swim. The waters are calm and crystal clear. It is a small pebbly beach. So taking the correct lounging equipment for comfort would make you more comfortable. But we just manage with beach towels. There is a cafe on the beach and two very good restaurants in the town. Everything is so close and convenient with a fabulous bakery and two supermarkets. Also two very nice gift shops. It is the most relaxing and idyllic of places. It makes it so difficult to leave.

The picturesque village of Assos sits on a dramatic peninsula situated in a small bay, overlooked by a Venetian castle. You’re guaranteed beautiful views at every turn. Quiet and tranquil with a small square with restaurants, a small beach surrounded by colourful houses, with a mountainous backdrop it really is picture perfect.

A quaint little village.

A quaint little village. Be aware that the village is at the bottom of a very mountainous area. Find a place with with 50 to 100m distance to the village. Also, if driving, take plenty of water as it is not drinkable there.

Asos is a very attractive small harbour village with 3 main restaurants and The Seaside bar. The restaurants open from 13.00 until 22.00hrs which means that the Seaside bar which also serves good food gets very busy until 13.00hrs and getting a table is tricky but not impossible. The small beach is pebbly and sunbeds/umbrellas limited and somewhat tired and basic. Swimming is excellent and paddle boards are available to hire. there are two small supermarkets and a couple of souvenir shops. Parking is free and ample a 200 metre walk uphill from the centre and the front. There is very little to do here but relax,eat,drink, read and swim.Excellent

Assos is a very beautiful village .. fabulous views of the dramatically situated harbour and castle across the isthmus .... gorgeous flowering shrubs everywhere... lovely architecture ... a delicious bakery ... two mini markets ... several good restaurants especially Nefali- Anait . We also enjoyed using the sunbeds on the beach and swimming in the sea .. May or September are the best times to go ... far too crowded in August !

Can’t speak highly enough about our stay here. It was exactly what we were after. Slow paced, with warm welcoming hosts who made it feel like home. We are so glad we stayed in Asos, the village is out of a painting. Stay was a 5 minute walk from the beach and restaurants, we loved walking up the hill to the ruins each morning as well.

Paradise view was fabulous, Dimitris was an exceptional host and the view was incredible. We loved our stay in Asos such a beautiful town. Our room was spotlessly clean and serviced daily with ample space for two people. Perfect location and did i mention the view !!!!
