The hotel is well situated, quite close to the Spianada and the Liston, but in a quiet location up a side street. The room we had was modern and spacious with a high beamed ceiling. Anastasia, who welcomed us and who was there at breakfast on the weekend, was exceptionally pleasant and helpful. The breakfasts were outstanding - homemade and plentiful. We found that Locandiera was the ideal base from which to explore the town and the surrounding area.

Very clean! Comfortable bed. Didnmt hear any noise from the streets, very quite although its in Old Town. Right across the street is a small beach where you can swim. The breakfast was amazing! Big variety of food and very delicious. And the rooftop bar has an absolutely stunning view! We went there in the evening for a drink and the view took our breaths away!

A beautiful, charming little town, small enough to walk from...

A beautiful, charming little town, small enough to walk from one side to the other in minutes but we spent hours walking around the old town and exploring all the little back streets, shops and the astonishing number of cafes and restaurants. I have a minor mobility issue and used a walking frame with robust wheels - that was problematic in only a handful of areas with steps but even those I managed to negotiate up and down with help from my companion. It could be more difficult and a bumpy ride for anyone in a wheelchair as some streets are cobbled. People were friendly and helpful. The only down side was the mosquitoes, which we now know are a problem at the time of year we went - October. We highly recommend the town as a place to visit for a couple days.

Visiting Corfu was magical--charming Old Town with loads of terrific restaurants and great shopping. The island itself was easy to drive around with beautiful beaches. And the day trip to Albania by ferry was an added bonus.

I was only in Corfu for 2 days, travelling onwards. However I have been there many times before, but it was my first time staying in the Corfu Holiday Palace Hotel, which was absolutely fabulous, in a super location, convenient for the airport, bus & ferries alike.

Great place with impressive historical sights, fine cuisine from many parts of the world and Greek traditional food at affordable prices. Great beaches, especially on the West coast but for the sand lovers the East coast is probably a better choice. Well organized and affordable public transport, great hosts everywhere. Greek people are always warm and nice and very hospitable. Corfu town has that great mixture of Greek traditional and English vibe which go together perfectly well. At one minute you are astonished by Ionnian and Venetian architecture and then you look around and enjoy great green spaces, public gardens, a garden dedicated to famous English Durrells for example... The atmosphere is the best in spring and early autumn in my opinion, when you can get lost in narrow vivid streets and enjoy the lively atmosphere with not too many tourists and warm but not too hot weather

Corfu is a beautiful city and island with much to offer.

Corfu is a beautiful city and island with much to offer. The views of the sea, the mainland across the sea and the city are breathtaking. We visited the Old and New Fortresses, both worthwhile, the old town, the Byzantine Museum, the Old Widmill near Mon Repos, took the blue bus to Achyllion Palace and Benitses, crossed the bridge by the Monastery of Panagia Vlocherna and Mouse Island and took the green bus to Paleokastritsa, for more wonderful views of the Ionic Sea and a short but very satisfactory beach experience. This more than filled our four days stay. I'm sure if we had stayed longer, hiring a car to travel to spot not reachable by public transport would have made our experience better. Still, we were very happy with what we had.

Everything was so good! It was so close to the airport, to the city center of Corfu town and just 50m away from the bus terminal with buses going to all the best beaches. The host was amazing and so helpful. She gave us so many tips and was so welcoming. The apartment was really clean and had everything you needed, including a cozy balcony for the after-beach-day-wine in the afternoon :) thank you so much for the best week!

Our Sea view room had a little balcony with chairs which was perfect for possibly the best view you could get from Corfu town for watching the sunset. Welcoming staff, taxis stop right outside to make it super easy to get to the airport. Minutes walk from the old town and bars and restaurants. Absolutely loved this old world, great value for money charming hotel

This was by far one of the best stays I had. The owners go above and beyond with their hospitality. You've some small snacks in the studio. It's super clean.. and the bed is really comfy. They'll meet you, tell some things what to do in corfu townd and bring you to the studio. Location is perfect, in the centre. But no issues with street noise.

Very professional staff. The location is really great in the real centre of Corfù. The Rooftop terrace is one of the best in town.. Overall a good hotel so I can recommend it; you pay for the location but the interiors probably require some refurbishment, as it is all a bit old.
