I had a wonderful stay at San Giorgio Hotel in Tsoutsouros, Heraklion, Crete. The location is absolutely perfect , right by the sea, offering stunning views and a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere away from crowded tourist spots.

Apollon is an old style “rooms to let” type of place. So the furnishings look a bit dated but everything is in good shape and kept spotlessly clean. The mini kitchen was fully equipped. The rooms are large and have nice balconies. The couple that run it are very friendly and helpful and made me feel at home. The wifi was also surprisingly good :)

We unexpectadly had to spent a night at Tsousourous and the stay at Venetia was briliant! Everything is so clean, the room is perfect, the wiew to the mountains is great and there is everything prepared if you would like to use a kitchen. As we were staying only one night, we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast in Venetia taverna. Perfect one night stay in a quite Tsoutsouros. And the owners deserve an extra compliment!!! We plan to repeat the trip next year, but for a longer stay at Venetia.
