I am delighted we chose the Arkadi Hotel for our stay. We were visiting Crete to celebrate my partner's birthday, so the very polite staff at reception noticed that and upgraded us to a better room with an amazing terrace view. Besides that on the actual date, we received a piece of cake up to our room. This is a remark about the hotel's values and understanding of true hospitality. Moreover, the hotel has a great interior and location. It felt boutique and Scandinavian, the room was clean and functionally well-designed and the breakfast was nice as well. I would definitely recommend and will probably visit again next summer.

What an amazing little family run hotel right on the port. Absolutely everything was fantastic from time of check in to departure after an amazing breakfast. We travel a lot and stay in amazing properties but this small 3☆ hotel could teach many other hotels on how to do it right. We had no choice of room as it was fully booked and that was sad as it was a bit small for the 2 of us but as you are never in the room who cares. Beds and pillows super comfortable and good size showers. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, the best we have had in Crete as everything fresh and cooked to perfection. Parking available behind the hotel which was a big plus.

The accommodation is exactly as shown in the pictures. It is very nice, luxurious and brand new (clean!) and the bed was really good. The staff really goes the extra mile, they even helped us find a parking space (he parked the accommodation car elsewhere!). One day we used their breakfast: they bring it to your room, it was very nice and plenty enough (we still had for lunch). The accommodation is very well located. Just 5 minutes of walking to the bus station (so we took the airport shuttle to the hotel) and few minutes more walking you are in the old town. A supermarket is just 2 minutes walk from the hotel (if you go out of the hotel, turn left). We liked the fact that it was only 10 minutes walk to the "busy" old town but that we were staying at a quiet location. And if you are planning to do the Samaria gorge: then you will enjoy the Hamam in your room after that walk!! (that was really nice). On our last day we could use the swimming pool after our check out. So we could relax and swim before our flight back.

Great place in a very comfortable location with all facilities nearby (supermarkets, beach, restaurants) and easy access to Chania town by bus or car (plus there is a dedicated parking spot). The house is great, with a great view, very modern with all facilities needed for a family (laundry, fully equiped kitchen etc.). The hosts are very polite and make you feel like a guest / relative. It's a great place to stay at Chania.
