Everyone we met was extremely friendly, warm and inviting. They did their utmost to make sure we had a pleasant stay. The breakfast was lovely and it’s a shame we didn’t get to try the evening meal as the menu looked amazing. Our room had a lovely view of the sea and could watch the gorgeous sunset.

We were looking for some ‘real Greece’ and found it at Mannas house. The building had so much character- beautiful and efficient. We were given home made cake and the fridge was stocked with wine , water, bread and lovely coffee. The kitchen was well stocked with herbs and spices. Amazing. We were met by them at the airport which was a great comfort- travelling as we were with 2 children- 7 and 2 yes old.

We liked everything about Hotel Elafos. We couldn't have asked for a better place to round off our week long stay on the island. Felicia is the most warm, welcoming and kind host; the breakfasts are superb with a selection of toast and jams, pastries, ham and cheese and bread rolls, yogurt and fruit, fruit juice and a choice of either coffee or English breakfast tea! The room and whole building is a gem. We were so pleased that the period character and charm of the building has been retained throughout. There are lovely walks from the hotel - we hiked to Salakos and back which is really not that arduous and Salakos is a nice village with several pleasant tavernas. We didn't have any private transport and so it was important to find places to eat although Hotel Elafos has a good selection of lunch items and we were able to order a pizza for one of our evening meals.
