I spent a whole week at Kaloniki and it was simply amazing! ❤️ Kalotina and Nikita, the 2 hosts and owners, are such warm hearted people and they made me feel at home instantly. Every morning they served me a 5* breakfast and we had such a fun time joking around. They also shared a lot of their family and Kalymnos’ history and gave me great advice on where to go and what to do! And the view from their terrace and the rooms‘ balconies is simply spectacular with the sun setting in front of you every night!! Also, the house is located very centrally and all restaurants, the ferry to Telendos and activities are walkable, and at the same time it’s very quiet since there’s no road close by. The rooms are furnished in a modern way with high quality furniture and kitchen equipment. What a wonderful time! I will definitely come back ☺️

The appartment and the balcony offer a lot of space. Especially the bathroom is big. It was very clean with daily cleanup. The location is great, not far from the center but far enough that you dont hear the music. The beach and harbour are also within short reach. During the night you can hear of course the motorbikes due to the proximity to the street. Maybe one day the should make the street available only for pedestrians during nighttime. The bed was comfortable and long enough, approx 2 meters. The wifi worked usually great. The host surprised me often with small gifts, like a cake or delicious bread etc. the interaction with Anna was very pleasant and always helpful. I am looking forward to rent again from her.

Super friendly staff first of all. Great and clean facility with an amazing view. Beach in walking distance. Good food and drinks. We went to Kos after a week, but we hated it so much that the staff of Ambiance helped us within a heartbeat to come back the next day. This feels like home... we will come back for sure and really recommend people to go and get the same amazing experience.

Wherever you go to eat is incredible! The locals are helpful and friendly and the sunsets better than Santorini! On your first visit when you come over the mountain to drop down towards the resort the views were incredible will take your breath away. The resort is a chilled heaven. Perfect for couples.

Small, friendly, has everything you need: lovely beach, wonderful views, great shops and restaurants. The people are very friendly and helpful. You can hire a boat, take a ferry to Telendos where you can go for a walk, watch a sunset and go for a great meal.

Great place to rock climb better later in the year to avoid the crowds. I was based in Masouri and teamed up with other Canadian climbers. Restaurants all good and reasonable prices. I prefer a cooked breakfast on climbing days so very good at the Ambience. Some of the newer climbing areas are less polished than the older areas but the rock can be very sharp. As people are concentrated in Masouri the social scene is preferable compared to Leonidio, and the climbing just as good in both locations. A car is needed in Leonidio but not so much in Kalymnos. Telendos has great climbing too as well as some spectacular multi-pitch routes.

Masouri is a magical place.

Masouri is a magical place. The main street is alive with numerous restaurants and shops, but the sea side is serene and breath-taking. The sunsets are magnificent. Very good place for rock climbers. many of the best views do involve climbing steep roads or steps, but the effort is worth it. The local bus service is excellent and is very reasonably priced

Restaurants, small grocery stores, and bars in Masouri and Myrties and easily walkable. In November, the tourist season comes to an end and some restaurants and stores shut down for the winter. However, there are still a few places still open for business. Most restaurants serve classic Greek food as well as seafood - the fresh fish is a go to. The small grocery markets supply simple but comprehensive supplies. Mostly a climber town in the spring and fall months, I saw mainly rock climbers and it was a chill vibe. If you plan to stay here for climbing or exploring, know that you need an international or EU drivers license in order to rent a car or scooter. There is plenty of climbing within walking distance, however, so that you could make do without transportation. The locals here are awesome and friendly and it's a fantastic place to spend a couple weeks if you are climbing or exploring the Greek islands.

Kalymnos and Telendos are very attractive Islands.

Kalymnos and Telendos are very attractive Islands. Short ferry trip between the two is 3 euros with stunning views. Masouri is the centre for sport rock climbers from around the world. The paths created to get to the crags give steep walks for others to enjoy the scenery or watch their climbing activities. Sunset over Telendos from Masouri is quite stunning.

Soula was a lovely host and the room had everything we needed. I haven't slept so well for a long time. The air con was used a lot and the patio had a great mozzie screen which was really useful. The hotel is in a great location too, with shops and restaurants nearby. I was also gifted with a portion of Soula's Moussaka, which ended up being the tastiest thing we had all week, which is impressive given the great restaurants nearby!

The position in Masouri and location on Kalymnos was perfect for our adult family. The sunsets and views of Telendos from our balconies was stunning. A small hotel with lots of added outdoor spaces. We had a family picnic on the deck and swam at the private beach. Vaggelis and Poppy were so helpful. We would stay there again rather than the newer, bigger clubs.

We had a great time in Masouri - the apartment is clean, spacious and well equipped to make our stay very enjoyable. Popy, the owner, was so kind - because of our late arrival, she helped us to get on the last ferry from Kos and even organized some breakfast so we wouldn’t have to start the first day hungry. We will definitely come back!
